Best marshmallow I ever made was one where I added honey whiskey instead of vanilla extract...what a hit! Going to try peanut butter ones this year, dipped halfway in chocolate ❤
Clara Maey Garcia its hard to make the marshmallow itself less sweet because it contains basically just sugar. But try to mix some lemon zest in the sugar powder when rolling the marshmallow in it. The citrus flavour would take over a little of the sweet I'm sure ;)
@@SharkLizard you can make honey or maple syrup ones with water, extract, and gelatin. That's as healthy as they are going to get and they will cost more money. I was a crunchy mom and made them for my children once. I dusted them with cocoa powder. They were easy and delicious.

Txs very clear information. I don't find corn syrup is required as makes them too sweet.
I love it!
Can you dip in choc and cover them ?
Oh! My God! Karen is sooo cute...i love her.

also use canola oil instead of water to wet the knife
You store them in the fridge or at the room temperature?
I use half powdered sugar and half cornstarch to coat. There's already enough sugar in the marshmallow
love it!!!
After you whip the mallow can you add rice crispy cereal and have treats?
Ooh what a delicious idea! You'd probably need to add about three tablespoons of butter to replicate the original recipe. Let us know if you try it!
use a thread sewing thread or hin plastic nylon thread also can be used to cut the marshmellows....not a knife ....easiers

why not just use wax paper to line the pan. that way you can pull it right out of the pan without using a knife on the sides
Instead of dusting the 8x8 couldn't you use cling film?
You could certainly try that! But dusting it will make it easier to handle once it's been removed from the pan.
where's the printed recipe?
how do you dip or roll store bought marshmallow into roasted coconut.. with mine?,.,,. the coconut does not want to stick to sore packaged.
my old ears appreciate closed captioning, but this video's CC is gibberish
