@@package2go I totally forgot to mention that! I do/did wet the fibers a bit. If they are too wet, the mud doesn’t stick to them very well causing more cracking at times, also when the fibers are mixed into a big batch they absorb some moisture too. I have found, either way, they end up with the same properties once dry. Mostly the straw being brittle.
Thank you! The build we are working on is an EarthShip inspired “Gabion-Wallipini”. It is a mash up of many different earth building designs and aspects. Tying in with regenerative agriculture and permaculture. We built 4 EarthShips in Montana and now are taking all that knowledge and applying to here in Arizona ✌🏾💜
