For todays video, I want to share to you my STATEMENT OF PURPOSE OR THE STUDY PLAN for my application for the GLOBAL KOREA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM graduate degree 2021.

I don't see why you should be surprised that they selected you. I believe you did an amazing job! Thanks for sharing your SOP and giving us an idea about the points that are important to be included in it. I was sincerely confused on what was most relevant to put in there as an information, but after watching your video I feel more at ease about writing my SOP. 😄

Hi! Your videos have been a great help, I have a question, in the transcripts, do I have to add the original document of grades of my school translated or just the transcripts directly are fine?

Hello! Thank you for sharing your experiences and I want to ask you something. For goal of study there are some kinds of examples that they count down the courses they're gonna take per semester. Are they good for embassy track applications? Or are they necessary in general?
Bullet type or essay won't matter. The content matters the most.

With or without, you can still get the scholarship. Awards and certs are just optionals

Mr Long, I wish to take Global Korea Culture and Society as my major subject, but only one university offers that major and the other 2 universities that I wish to choose offers Global Korean language and culture.
So while applying through the embassy track will it affect my application?

Send the hardcopy through international courier (FedEx, DHL)... please read the guidelines again and again. There’s no application online
Do you perhaps know if one can still work in their home-country during the GKS scholarship? I read that there are strict rules on working in Korea, but no mention on online jobs outside. Thank you!

my GPA is 3.77 but I don't have extracurriculars and certificates, do I have a chance? I think it's clearly indicated in SOP form "within THREE pages". All/everything must be in the pages provided

@@HwanSeoulyouaremysoul it’s still depends on the university you applied. I submitted a certificate from my uni that we used English in all my undergrad classes. And a certificate from my previous job as an english teacher~

You can't do that~ your essays should be general~ maybe only mention while you choose those 3 unis~

Can u pls tell me that if I don't have very gud percentage like creteria is above 80 percent and i have only 81 percent marks and i want to apply for bachelors in computer science engineering but i dont have extracurricular activities certificate related to science but i have volentering certificate internship certificate then singing dancing and other activities and also i was my class monitor for 9 years and school captain for 2 years so if i will write these things in my personal statement and prepare a strong SOP is there any chances of getting selected ? Hello, mr long, you are really inspirational and help me with your videos! I have a question that I believe you can only give me an answer as I couldn’t search it up on google.
So my situation is that I want to apply gks through embassy track with the major in food science and biotechnology and there’re similar yet different major name to it (with the different field of study i suppose). For example Korea University has the major of “food bioscience and technology”..
The question is: can i apply for it too even when i had written down “food science and biotechnology” in the application form.
I genuinely hope u understand my question well and reply it as I really need it!
