Really good review Mike thank you .I am thinking about getting one probably not interested in the whole combiner. Mike it’s a struggle when you do it on camera . so much easier when you could get it directly in front of you .
I bought the cartoon accurate Big Load & preordered 3 other Devastator characters from Show Z. Really love this figure. Have watched a couple of reviews now & my only critiques are the tolerance of the “peg” for the ab crunch & the heels look incomplete. As someone with space limitations, not sure whether to sell my Combiner Wars Devastator & have a combine X-Transbots version, or to keep the Combiner Wars one & have the X-Transbots figures surrounding it in their individual modes, they look that good.
ewww I dont think I like that black box behind his head. This is cartoon accurate right? I don't remember that in the show. I'm debating about what constructicons I want for my Team. This or the Fantoys, but for long haul and the black cube behind his head, is not helping xtransbots for me. I also need to see what their Scrapper looks like too
Got mine a week ago. I really like it and I'm stoked to get the full set but I'm not expecting them to complete the set until the Summer of 25. That's a ways off but I'm betting they beat FansToys to market by a good year. MMC I doubt will be far behind them. We're still waiting on XTB and MMC to finish their Defensor's as well. XTB's will be larger but I'm not sure if they'll end up at 21" like Zeta and ToyWorld. Their Menasor is only 20" and I suspect their Defensor and Devastator won't end up any larger if XTB Menasor is an indicator for size. Not sure if this XTB is going to end up being my Jinbao 2.0 replacement or just a second set I display as a team? I suspect the ToyWorld is going to come down in price once this set along with the MMC and FT sets get closer to completion. I don't really want to pay $800 for a new ToyWorld but if they drop down to $500 or so I wouldn't mind picking one up to replace my Jinbao with 2.0 Kit and keeping the XTB as my team display and have two sets of Constructicons. Just depends how much I want to spend long term. If I do duplicate Constructicons then it's duplicate Dinobots Stunticons Aerialbots Combaticons and Protectobots. That's a few thousand at least. 😂 Got him from ShowZ as well. As usual I showed you some love on the purchase. 😂 Looking forward to XTB Runamuck and Runabout showing up here soon as well. Runamuck is a good week ahead of the other by tracking. XTB has a lot of stuff coming out this year.
Ok xtb got me. I wasn’t in for an mp scale devastator, but for individual bots I think the xtbs look better in bot and alt modes so far. And FT still hasn’t shown us they can do a combiner. I bought dx9 deadend so I don’t get stuck with a $400+ price for fans toys when I don’t intend combine them.
Good show. I was waiting for a comparison. I thought it was called lite and cheaper because they would skip on the metal.. Both are so good.. but.. fans toys is making one too.. Decision decision. Maybe go with toy version with xtransbots and toon with fans toys.

When you had both figures in bot mode next to each other, it looked like the toon version was slightly taller than the toy version. Don’t know If you noticed that or not. Would you have any idea why that would be?

That silver head makes the bot. I can't even see the other face. I will definitely pay the extra money

I ended up grabbing the toy version. I prefer the chrome and purple.
Went with the toy version because I like the colors better and it didn't hurt that he's also cheaper.
Request: higher resolution on reviews. Feel like there is details on these I am not seeing as clear as can be.
