By this logic, almost all the main characters could go mad. 1. Jon is a Targaryen, centuries of incest can't be undone by one person doing the deed with someone outta the family once. He too has her blood. Jon has also killed people who disobeyed him. 2. Cersei has been evil from the get-go, she literally killed anyone that stood in her way regardless of all the innocent peeps that had to die for it. 3. Sansa happily fed a man to hounds and smiled has he screamed to her death. Dany has never showed satisfaction from seeing anyone die, at least not like that. 4. Arya killed a whole family tree lol, it is never questioned that some of those people had nothing to do with the red wedding. She not only killed them, she killed them and baked them, then fed them to someone.
They live in a world that is cruel and they all have to do cruel things as a means to a good end. It makes no sense to simply say Daenerys is mad while painting every other character as people who are completely sane when most of them have shown more heartless actions (if we exclude the burning of kings landing which made no sense).
Besides, burning king's landing made no sense. It didn't serve her in any way if we're saying she was logical at that point. She also showed no satisfaction in all those people dying. If we're saying she was angry in the moment and madness came out, she would've been herself the following day instead of saying she liberated people. It was just horrible writing. For it to make sense, they should have made it seem like something she had to do to get to the throne, then we'd say she's cruel and self-serving... but to simply undo the Dany who put aside her own interests to stay in a city to ensure slavery would never return by making her act out of character just to get to a quick ending was not it.

You've got to remember I made and posted this before the final episode...the shows ending was literally laughable...I THOUGHT they were going to have her looking insane like something had snapped (similar to her father) and the whole madness thing was going to be explained with her bloodline. Instead we got her somehow magically transitioning to a nazi leader ready to conquer the world. I completely agree with Cercei perhaps going insane too, and I originally thought we would get two "Mad Queens" in the final season.
I thought Jamie's arc should have ended with him killing Cercei while she was butchering Kings landing before danny got there or something horrible. I didn't like that they made her a sympathetic villain at the end.
I would argue with all of the Starks you mentioned doing evil things were not as large scale as Danny wanting to burn down her whole city bc the slave masters attacked her, but yeah Arya did a pretty messed up thing feeding him his kids.
I am actually making a video comparing Avatar: The Last Airbender to GOT because they had A LOT of similarities story wise before D&D decided to write blindfolded with their feet if that sounds interesting to you!

I honestly started feeling weary about Daenerys sooner in season 6. At the end of "Blood of My Blood", when she was giving her speech to the Dothraki, everyone I was watching with were saying "Yeah, I'm so happy for Dany! She's amazing!" I was like..."Didn't you hear what she was saying? She was telling them to "Go to Westeros with me, 'kill them in their iron suits and tear down their stone walls'." She was already planning to kill mass amounts of people and destroy their homes before even going to Westeros. It all already seemed tyrannical to me.

Yeah I think it was for sure foreshadowed, but after the final episode it was clear they didn't write this well. They totally rushed it.

no it’s out of character. her murdering innocents the same woman who locked her dragons up for 2 seasons because they harmed 1 innocent child goes on a sudden murder spree? it’s out of character. period

Which is why Dany was actually freaking out the whole time Drogon was burning King's Landing. We never saw that. Bran was warging the dragon after her initial charge towards the Red keep.

I agree its not in character to THAT danny. But this isnt the same danny (shes gone crazy). Shes always had a mean streak as seen in the examples I showed, and has had no issues murdering people who were deemed evil by her. I think its totally in character for her to view the people in the red keep as enemies if shes insane. It was written way too rushed for sure, but I think its hard to say this could never happen to her.

I like that theory, but I don’t see how that would futher the plot to have an ending next episode. D&D seem to be writing towards an ending they came up with and I think Bran becoming the villian is too complex for them when they didn’t even connect him to the nightking lol

@@saucytendies bran is not the villain. It's Sansa.

Ohhhh! I really like that theory! That would be a very game of thrones ending. I think its probably going to end with jon killing danny, declining the throne and then living as a wildling in the north and actually Sansa will end up on the throne. I think its either Sansa or Arya/Gendry Baratheon who will sit on the throne at the end.

I thought Bran should have warged into Rhaegal during the battle for winterfell to help Jon. Alas, I think they just made bran useless.

@@saucytendies Now you know what Bran was up to as the Night King approached. He was busy trying to warg into Drogon after the dragon left Dany behind to shake off all the wights.

@@ypicard2000 Honestly, I doubt it, I think they didn't know what to have Bran do so they just had him do nothing.
