1. No styling creme by itself. Must be sealed with gel 2. DO: Use gels and custards as a styler to smooth hair and lock in moisture 3. Do NOT rinse with hot water. It opens up hair shaft and dries out hair. Lukewarm water is ok. 4. DO: Rinse with cold water to close hair shaft. 5. DON’T: LCO Method- Leave-in/Liquid, Adding oil and then creme. DO: LCO/G - Leave-in or liquid, then styling creme, and then coat with oil or gel.
My hair became high porosity after the Domician had their way. My roots require extra moisturizing versus my ends. Bushy roots with defined ends, not the look at all. Curl pattern is gone for now. Cantu leave-in conditioning cream, oil to seal, then gel. As far as washing, I've been using Luke warm and cool rinse, I'm thinking cool wash and rinse. I agree the LOC, doesn't work for me, especially since my problem area is my roots. LCO has better results.
Gel Is a do for me. I have changed some of my products to protein based and added gel to my regimen. My hair has improved, and I am loving it. My hair loves protein. I do deep condition every other week and this helps. Thanks for all your tips!
Thank you for this video I have been struggling to find people with the same hair as myself and wondering why we have the same texture but I gut such different results
Wow when I use to spend an whole bag on Ulta for hair products & would wonder why I could literally use an whole jar of styler cream & my hair would eat it up as if I didn't add any product. Following the wrong hair videos and info I thought applied to my hair really cost me some crazy coins! Thank you for going into detail about high porosity info and your experiences with what's good! 🎉❤
Sealing my hair with oil is a non negotiable 😭😭 I genuinely didn’t know people could finish wash day without an oil seal. And wash and gos are a noooo for my hair she needs some oil twisted up in there 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Wash n go’s cause me dryness that lead to single strand knots and split ends

Same!!! My hair is a protein crack addict. I use protein deep conditioners every week.
😛🤪
Do final rinse with green tea and leave it in your hair for thickness and shedding hair.

Very true, i thought i could use styling cream but no chance. I have different types of gels, jelly, custard to give me different results.

Hey Ky I am low porosity but I find my hair loves the LCO method ❤ but I do have like four different textures 😂 Anywho Love your content as always 👌🏽😘
Do you have fine high porosity hair? Mine is fine so like heavy stuff weight it down.
Great advices. Thanks
Ughhh I love the LOC method. It didn’t make sense to me either but tbh ima try the LCO method, I might see even more results.
Very helpful ❤ thank you ❤
I tried the test
My hair is either sitting on top or at the middle.
One strain sat on top and the other at the middle 🤷
