I'm from Myanmar. It seems like we usually use our own words most of the time. I didn't know other Asian countries use a lot of English loan words. Is it because of globalization and modernization? Is it because of Myanmar's isolationism in history? It's pretty interesting that Myanmar was colonized by Britain but used few English loan words than those who didn't get colonized by Britain.

In Mongolia, some fruits and vegetables that grow in humid and hot regions don't have a designated word. Avocado is a perfect example, we just say Авокадо which is same as the English word, Avocados aren't grown in Mongolia and is totally foreign vegetable.

Actually in Indonesia we have our own salad. But we use peanut sauce for the dressing and we call it gado-gado another one is a fruit salad with brown sugar sauce. It's named rujak.

    韩语中足球一词“”(Chuk-gu)至今仍然是“蹴鞠”的音译拼写。

I liked the Mongolian pronunciation...its very unique

  • @clippers0

If you look at the similar pronunciation in English... it means that in the past that country was quite influenced by colonialists either from Europe or America... China and Mongolia have very unique languages and so it's clear that their languages were not influenced by colonialists... I'm from Indonesia and maybe those of you who speak Portuguese Dutch will be surprised because there are many words that are similar to Indonesian🇮🇩

Saki is a great combination of assertiveness and being respectful. She'll be successful at whatever she chooses to do in life, but she is especially going to make a great mom, her kids are going to be taught thoroughly and behave well.
