I have the deadbolt for frog fishing and I was confused at first as well getting backlash. Then I thought maybe it has internal break adjustments as well. Once I got it dialed in it was special. It works great and has no drag so I can't have a bass slip my drag again. I've caught tons of fish on it all on frog obviously. This ain't your grandpa Kastking no more, they are really making good affordable reels now
Very well said. KastKing has upped their game DRAMATICALLY over the past several years. The Deadbolt is on my list to try too. I really want that zero drag for the kayak!
iv been using the same reel for 2 years. caught hundred of giant snakeheads already. Recommended reel for top water lures. in south east asia, snakehead fishing is very famous for sport fishing.
I got two KastKing Megajaws elite. I love the way they feel but wish I knew how they worked when hooking up to a snake. Used them in the May Legion tourney and skunked

Were you having issues with them on the hookset or with something else?
@@KambotroutFishing short strikes all day. Didn’t get a chance to set the hook. Felt like they were playing with my emotions.
