I used this snow flock years ago on a real tree; put the tree up the 18th of Dec, had to take the tree down the day after Christmas, it smelled like sour milk; never did it again! It did look great when done, but, the smell was over whelming. Nice job on your 🎄! 👍🏻👍🏻
See…. I love this! Every tree I’ve seen “Flocked” it’s way over the top! Too much clumpy white, fake looking powder on them! Ty for this video! I have a beautiful green artificial tree with dusted snowy beaches and pine ones… all I need is probably one can and it will look beautiful!
BEWARE: THIS SPRAY IS NOT FOR FLOCKING TREES! It’s for glass windows. You can spray the tips of your Christmas tree but don’t go crazy with it and don’t do a heavy spray because it will take forever to dry. It even says it on the can. I made the mistake and tried to use this stuff on my pre-lit 6.5 ft artificial tree last year and IT IS messy if you use too much. If you’re looking for a heavy flocked look I would suggest just getting an already flocked tree. I’m scared to pull mine out of the box that I used that spray on last year because it is going to be MESSY.
Hi. Thanks for posting this! Your tree came out so pretty. i have a similar tree and I’m debating on flocking it as well. Was your tree Pre lit? I couldn’t tell. I heard that this technique dims alot of the bulbs since the spray will get on them. What was your experience?
I’m 66 & had that tree…donated it to relatives…too much work for a Single woman. I think I was in my late 40s when I got it. My brother got upset with me bc I left it up in MY living room one year bc it was so much work…LOL …fast forward brought an expensive lighted one about $500….next year lights half work ! It’s all a rip off or work. You can get snow from Hobby Lobby, add iridescent glitter for look of fallen snow on lights/sun. Happy Holidays!
Looks nice! But, this kind of “snow” has been around for many years, I grew up in the 60’s & it was used when I was a kid. I’m pretty sure it will get gross looking after being packed away for a while and if it doesn’t, I would imagine it would be a flaky mess. I’d be interested to know how it did after being packed away a year...Any updates? 😊🎄
I was curious myself, opened this tree up a few days ago to see how it’s holding up and it still looks great!! Will definitely give it a touch up again this year but it has held up way better than I thought it would :)
What size tree? I bout 12 cans and i have a 9 ft. Tree. The cans are not tree flock though, and slot of it will flake off while putting lights and ornaments on.
Love your tree but the cans you used are not tree flocking it's stated on the back of the can. I do use this along with glue shaving cream and cornstarch and fake snow flakes and spray adhesive not so much of the spray snow will fall off while adding lights and ornaments.
Yours is the first one I’ve seen with the spray snow in the can. I appreciate this! Gonna try it now.
Thank you!! Thought it was the easiest way to achieve this haha
I was going to use the spray can but the back specifically says not to be used for flocking trees so I’m unsure if I should or not
@@cosmokramer5055 Ikr, saw it and was confused too 😐
I’m in the process of flocking my tree now. I bought two cans of Sno blower I can’t wait to see the results. Thank you for the video. 🙂
Excited for you!!

I think your spray idea is the best. I will try this method this year. 🎄
Agreed! It looks so good in person and is so easy!
Absolutely! This has been most helpful. Thank you! 😊
Can you remove the white snow later after you spray it and let it dried overnight?
How is the tree doing after a couple of years? Do you have to do anything special when putting it away?
I put mine away normally! It’s still in good condition but I always add more where needed
I got some snow for around $1.80 today at Walmart
I just grabbed like 6 cans so I do my tree and garland!
Beautiful home! Love the high ceilings!!! Thank you for sharing ❤
Ty!! I bought the same can and had no idea what to do. Every other video used powders and mixtures?! Like I want to just spray my can lol 😂 🥰
Same I don’t have time for powder😭😂😂
I bought it at Walmart for $1.48, I bought my tree second hand(it’s 7.5ft) for $20 so total I spent like $26!!

The clumps look like actual snow though, as opposed to paint.
I just flocked mine with the same thing! Debating which colored string of lights to use, green or white. What did you use?
It came out nice. I did mine. The spray is 1.98 a can in Walmart.
I wish I knew this before, I had purchased quickly off of Amazon for the convenience
This was so helpful! I bought about 8 cans (before watching this video). Now I’m sure I have more than enough. My tree is 7.5 feet tall.
Make sure it’s one that is for flocking, the one in this video is advised to not use for flocking

Does it rub off?
Is it a permanent paint?
Love the video! Will the lights on a tree be affected by the snow spray?
I strung my lights afterward so Im not sure, but regardless my lights were never affected they were still very bright
Walmart has that same SANTA SNOW for $1.98 each... Happy Holidays
Thank You
when you put on lights and decor did the flocking fall off??
Yes, Was alittle flaky as expected! Nothing crazy though, didn’t have to reapply

Hahaha thank you for the tip!
Nice job guys. How's the back? ;)
Can I do this on a real tree? 🌲
is this permanent? or does it come little by little?
Not permanent you can literally wipe it all off if you wanted to it’s very light, almost foamy
Did it turn yellow overtime in storage?
Looks the same still!
Where did you buy this tree ? I can't find a Christmas tree under $250
It’s called At Home! I think they have an online store too, I got a 9ft, unlit one!
I got mine off a Facebook marketplace for free... Check your local one
Hobby lobby
Just got a 7.5ft from Walmart for $72, that’s with tax
Cuantos botes utilizaste para nevarlo ?
1.5!
I’m really scared that if I do this, it will start smelling. Does yours smell at all?
Mine didn’t smell! My tree is fake though!
Does the spray smell??
For me it didn’t smell!

Spray adhesive will set it forever!
@@shaywiththeslay8877 have you used spray adhesive to do this? I have the spray snow and I'm wondering if the adhesive makes the needles hard.
@@jaimekaminski3478 it probably makes it hard in some spots.
I just saw a video that used white pain and ceiling popcorn spray for texture and to avoid yellowish future discoloration.
Very helpful! Thanks 😊
I bought the can with this same intention!! 😍 does it flake off easily??
It holds pretty well! When you originally spray it it’ll definitely leave some dust but overall didn’t really have any issues!
Does it turn yellow over time?
opened this tree up a few days ago, it’s still white/frosty!
Great idea thanks
Awesome.. thanks for this video
Thanks for watching ❤️
My tree has lights. Has anyone still sprayed their tree that has lights with canned snow??
Mine has lights and I’m an about to spray paint it for this year 🙏🏽
@@iNekol I too sprayed mine last year and it was fine

How many litres does the spray can have? I am not sure how many I am going to need for my tree. Thankyou so much

Very cute
im in tha background playing fortnite 3:14

I buy two cans of this at home depot...I hope that I can do it right!😔

Is it okay for indoor pets
Definitely not edible, and falls to the floor if the tree gets shaken so I would say it isn’t safe for pets!
That can of snow is $1.60 at the Dollar store!
The Santa snow pray is currently about 3 dollars at Walmart 😂😂
👍
Its pretty But it will get on everything. It doesn't dry
Girlllll that snow bottle is 1$ at Walmart
Ughhh, where were you last year?!😂😂
$20 for 2 cans? That's insane, I got each can for $2.50
That is not flocking spray. If you read the back of the can... They say it isn't for flocking.
Maybe there’s different cans? Because mine says it’s for flocking trees.
@@christinacrider1579 most professional flocking use a mixture of liquid and the snow is thrown on. A can to do both... Is not ideal.
Very helpful video thanks!
