Thank you for this. Best flocking tutorial I have found. I did some pinecones last year. I did a "Shake and Bake" method. Remember the chicken coating. Yep, same idea. It work great ONLY if you wanted a completely covered item. This is much prettier!
This was great because I've been searching TH-cam for information. My flocked pencil trees have a yellowish color. Can I use the flocking over the old flock? Also, does the flocking material yellow after a year? Thanks! Look forward to more videos--SOON!
Yes!! You can definitely use this over your old block to put a fresh new coat to keep out the yellow. All flocking will yellow after period of time and depending on how much heat it’s exposed to. Particularly if you’re storing your Christmas tree in an attic it tends to yellow quicker.
I wonder if giving it a light spray with Hydrogen peroxide would help de-yellow it some. You could try a test spot. I imagine flocking a tree would be a two person job.
@@joimckinney9687 most of the time heat does tend to yellow the flocking no matter what…if the yellowing isn’t too bad, you can clip off the yellow parts and add new flocking. Some people just put fresh flock over the entire yellowing areas.
Hi! Can you do a video on diamond lights from Rebecca’s video please. I would like to see wha they look like out of packing and how to add to tree please. @ambermarieandcompany

I've never flocked but I'm wanting to try it this year!
So pretty ❤
Looks like new fallen snow!
Can you please show us the home made version of flocking as this powder is not available in the UK. Many thanks. 😊

I'm curious... will the flock turn yellow over time if in attic?
