Huge tip i wish I knew when starting is using your MARKERS on the map (not the beacon waypoints). Open your map and press X (Xbox)/Square (PS) to open your markers menu. There are several different icons you can use to mark areas on your map you havent explored yet, to indicate loot, bosses, dungeons, etc and want to come back to, unlike the beacons you can place up to 100 of these down at any time and they don't disappear when you arrive at it once like the beacons do. Think of it like this, beacons (blue spire of light) are short term navigational aid and markers are long term exploration.

You do not have to defeat goldrick to access liurnia of the lakes. There's a detour you can take on your way up to the main castle gate that goes around the castle.

For your first playthrough, I'd recommend just exploring for them - particularly in the various churches, ruins and shacks. Some will also shout out to you when you're nearby. Regularly talking to the ones you have met can advance their quests and sometimes they'll direct you to new NPCs too. You can find the details of each of them on the wiki but it's easy to accidentally spoil yourself which is why I'd save that for a second playthrough.

@@wagner55 just bought it I see what you mean now lol
Same for me, first souls game. Two days am in lv 15 trying to get more smithing stones to upgrade. Ussing the bows, really dificult.
I'm on my First play through and went to Margit with starter armor and a flail, took a while, but I got him
These guides are amazing and invaluable. Thank you
so i just started playing and somehow without defeating Godrick I entered the Liurnua of the lake(don't ask me how), within 2-3 hours of playing and I didn't even explored Limgrave till then........no doubt why I thought this game is so stupidly hard XD
i've nearly unlocked all of Liurnia and completely bypassed Stormveil/haven't beaten Margit yet. There's a little side passage that I guess is easily missed because the terrain is weird. I'm just addicted to exploring and opening up the map!
Yeah I did the same you can just walk around the castle. I didn't know I wasn't supposed to
anyone else find it adorable how she says power😂
This guide made me a subscriber. Thank you very much!
I LOVE how you pronounce the “-ower” sound ❤
Trying Souls Game for the first time thought can beat this game in just 3-4 days stuck on 1st boss for a whole day. 😅
Not as helpful as the other videos but that's just because I've gotten a lot farther along in the game, but the tip about the markers was useful because I didn't even know you could do that. Would love if you could do video explaining the different builds, I'm trying to do a faith build but I have no idea if I'm doing it right or spreading my points out to much. Great video wish I had watched something like this when I started the game.
Extremely helpful thank you 🙏
U need some runes? Will drop u some gear too. Can't drop u a weapon stronger than u have. PSN Moses187931. No space between the s&1
great guide but would be nice if she opened her map when she reaches stuff like the boss or key locations so you can know where she is at.
Thanks needed this.
I’m now ready to break my controller!
Buy the lantern you can put on your belt so you don’t have to use a torch. Im not sure from witch trader. Haven’t used even one torch in the game.
I've only ever beat this game by watching a full in-depth guide/walkthrough. I get so overwhelmed trying to play this blind. I have no idea where to go, where I should be leveling and questing. What order to do bosses in. What side quests I've picked up and tracking them. It's just too much
Whoever is doing the commentary. I love your accent!
Probably should've mentioned the physick flask crafting, I'm level 80 and just figured it out lol....
Massive thsnk you on these Elden Ring uploads 👌 My 3rd video of urs im watching even before iv played the game just to see whats involved 😂 Omg this games huge ! 😱 ill be getting value for money then paying £32 for the game so thats 😎 Im still extremely overwhelmed tho with all the content yet greatful that its a game that will keep me occupied for a very long time 👏
Gimme all the elden ring content. Put it in my veins
So when should you head to Siofra River?
Re rune arcs - Idk the drop rate but I got one last night off a rat in castle morne in the weeping peninsula
Great video

Is the only way to get through a FromSoftWare title.
Thanks for the tips Aoife 👍🍺🛡️🗡️☘️

G = guides, guides, guides
Because the game doesn't tell you anything and because of that you can F up quests way too easily.
Played about 8 hours and just been running around not sure what to do.
That's one of the best parts imo
What accent is this? I love it. & thank you for this! I missed some stuff I needed that I saw in this video
Late response but it's a Northern Irish accent
Ey! More elden ring from eurogamer! 😄😁
Why should I visit that cave for faith builds, does it lead to the dragon chruch?
R2 on torrent whilst riding towards invisi-scarabs.
Everythings better with your weapon stuck out. 😮
I killed 4 dragons before even beating Margie. Go to the dragon alter and get rot breath. This does mega tik damage. Breath on them and then BOOK.
At the top of this taur, you'll be able to restore godricks rin to it's full paur
I did exactly what you said on video and I have not seen a change in my rules after 15 minutes is there something else you have to do besides walk down the stairs and then walk up to the safe point ???
An excellent excellent tip video thank you🙏
Can i use Margits Shackle for anything else if I have beaten him without remembering to use it on him?….
I'm having a lot of trouble finding level 7 smithing stones is there any kind of help you can help me with?
Couple questions how do I get that glintstone staff and glintstone spell???
Absolutely love this game….
Boss shaped roadblock is the correcrt word to use. Hahaha
