    You’re doing it right. Get those lateral shoots going! You’ll get lots of blooms on those vs having them shoot straight up.

    thank you! I was wondering if you think a Strawberry Hill rose would work on an arching trellis/arbor.....or should I try and purchase a climbing rose with greater height?

      Strawberry Hill grows to a height of around 10 feet. Knowing that you can determine where the rose max height will be on your trellis and make your decision. A Strawberry Hill on each side of a trellis would be so beautiful and fragrant. Thank you for your comment. Happy gardening!
