One's that looks plain jane on the outside, goes about doing its daily chores, and when the time is right... it does this.

By far the best Indian Car review I have seen. You guys truly understand the phrase "Character of a Car". Where other automotive editorial giants in India would test the TSI's & TDI's too for rear-bench space, fuel economy and other whole loads of crap, you guys test the car for what its meant to be.

I think the modern day PowerDrift has lost some of it's charm, the raw enthusiast nature has gone out and the mass market review structure has been brought in

Amazing video!!!! Got a GT TDI myself, and thoroughly enjoying it. The torque is too addictive that every time I am choked in traffic and get a stretch of free tarmac, I get a smile on my face on what’s coming next. A remap is definitely in my wish list and possibly I could do some drifting then, like you guys.. :-) Good work PowerDrift !!

Polo is my all time favourite and your vid makes me cry in happiness. the editing does justice to the cars , but does the 175 nm vs 250 nm of torque make much of a diffference?and again an amazing video guys !!

PD you ppl have been doing some great reviews and yeah there's just one question to ask for I need a hatchback under 10 lakhs and with a really good comfort while driving.Does POLO TSI falls in place with all the pretty decent specs and the comfort zone for the drivers who drives it ?

Awesome video !!! I bought new polo 1.2 L high line petrol last year , after few long drives kinda repenting it , the 3cyl engine doesn't feel good , its very noisy and has noticeable turbo lag at higher speeds..its good for city driving though. After watching this video i wish i had bought the GT variant or at least the 1.5 l diesel engine :(
1.2 L 3 cyl petrol that you have does'nt come with Turbocharger so how do you get turbo lag.?!.The GT has 4 cylinders and a Turbocharger plus direct injection.

I am at that phase of my life when I am going to buy myself some BHP. But what is confusing me is GT TDI VS GT TSI. Yes I love torque but I love the nature of a peppy engine too. PD army help me to choose.

I own a gt tdi but 1.6 version of it... Nd i m really happy vid my car, ur old gt tdi's review had pulled my heart towards it. Nd i m really happy i havnt bought the 1.5 version as one of my friends hav 1.5 nd i used to beat him on highways, 😁 lol

porag buragohain If you're concerned about mileage, go for GT TDI. If mileage is not a problem then go for TSI. But TSI comes only with the dsg automatic gearbox.

sooo, the only difference between the indian version and the indonesian version of the Polo TSI is the badge?
because in my country, we have the same spec as yours, but it was listed as a Polo 1.2 TSI.
I'm intrigued that the Indian made VW Polo is priced under the top of the line Honda Jazz RS 1.5l petrol, but VW only offer 2 years of free service while Honda gave 5 years of free service and cheaper service costs. But I couldn't get my mind off that DSG transmission! it's so good and quick, even better than the sporty automatic response of the jazz
here jazz comes with 1.2l engine, 1.5l is reserved for Honda city.
that's absurd, must be underpowered like hell :(
I know that because my mom bought a japanese spec jazz GD1 with a 1.3l iDsi, and it's too underpowered :( and not fun at all.

good camera work, polo is great. I love Jazz for the space and comfort, I miss the Abarth and now Freestyle i cannot lose either. Polo is having tough time.
This review of the polo is just amazing, hats off to the powerdrift team.
But I still have a question in my mind troubling me, which polo would be recommended in Goa the GT TSI or the TDI because here in Goa petrol is cheaper than diesel and the on-road price of both the polo's is almost the same I guess .
Archit Thanekar Look at your long term prospect and then make a move. The petrol comes with a DSG clutchbox, tempting isn't it?

I am looking for performance tyres for Polo GT TDI. I was looking for Bridgestone Potenza My-02 195/60 R15 88V. Is it a good option? The recommended ones by Polo according to the Rims is 185/60 R15 84H. Can you please recommend?
