I'm surprised any of the three had the fitness to climb Ben Nevis and come down, even though they were young men at the time. All three were heavy smokers and admit to taking LSD too. I've climbed this mountain in the summer as a non smoker and am fairly fit for someone from the flatlands of mid East Anglia and it's not a stroll in the park.
@@thebannanaslugs2300 It sounds as though you speak from experience. I've never tried LSD but I once dabbled with another hallucinogen namely magic mushrooms in an omelette which sent me crazy. My dear old dad thought I had got a touch of sunstroke! 😂
Eric Clapton was 'Captian Madman'? He's one of the dullest people I've ever seen interviewed. Presumably the booze and drugs made him a very different character.
Must have been the one day it wasn't`t raining in Scotland.🤣
Maybe just the one afternoon…😊
If Eric Clapton is Captain Madman, then Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker were , Pressed Rat and Warthog!.... but, which one is which?
Yep this turned around here

The LSD might have given them brief super powers, determined to get there.
@@geekay1349 Indeed!
Not sure they went to that very top? Sounds like they did a bit and then ran down for a cream cake 😂
Lsd gives you an energy boost
