The Lord gave me 2 visions and a dream.I saw a woman with a head covering on in the 2 visions then in the dream I saw zombies and aliens trying to attack me, then I saw myself wearing a head covering and they couldn't touch me Gid has shown me 3 timestonwear a head covering....we all know we are protected by the blood of Jesus and by The Holy spirit who lives in us, we are children of God and have already won the victory because the spirit of God who lives in us is greater then he who is in the world! however i feel very intimate when I wear the head covering, I can hear him more, and I feel stronger when im preaching the gospel & prophesying with my head covering on, i never knew anything about a head covering since The Lord saved me 5 years ago...ive been prophetic since then but just recently He led me to a head covering! I'm still learning as the Holy spirit teaches me and leads me, but it must be very important if I had 3 dreams/visions in 1 week! Glory to God and may he continue to bless you sis in Jesus name! wow I have been head covering for a while now and yes you are right!, I definitely get what you are saying about being less attacked its so true, i still get attacked but not as much. as women of God, we have to be covered, and we should be covered to not entice men to lust which is also a big deal to God (remember David and Bathsheba) and for submission. we are always in the presence of angels they are always watching the Good and the bad ones, you remember in the beginning the angels looked upon the beauty of women on earth and they mated with them, God was angry and destroyed that generation in the flood, and it's for our protection physically and spiritually I headcover all the time unless I am with my husband at home or sometimes on occasions like date night with him but I am usually always covered and I have never felt better my beauty is for my husband and if I wasn't married I would still cover because my beauty would be for God. God is serious about lust and the women of ancient biblical days covered themselves and it was a shame not to be!! you know the bible does not spend to much time focusing on a woman beauty, the heroines of the bible are not known for their beauty anyways they are known for their great faith in God. I have been studying and researching this for so long but I think I am going to just cover until God tells me different. We do opposite of what the World does, women of the world are rebellious and proud and naked and unashamed so many of them are being prostituted for their beauty and killed, so many have low self-esteem damaging their bodies it's a blessed thing to be covered in Gods Spirit, covered in his truth and righteousness I wear my head covering proudly because I Know I am blessed and safe in the masters' arms.

I think because I'm more focused on the Lord when my head is covered. I'll spend more time in prayer and talking to the Lord. So that leaves less room for attacks. I do agree that as women, we should cover overselves so we don't allow our brothers to stumble. You are absolutely right about lust. And I for one, wouldn't want to contribute to someones battle with lust. Our beauty is for our husbands, and not to seek attention or validation from others. I see it as a form of submission as well. You brought up a great point about when the angels were tempted by the beauty of the women on earth. Never thought about that. We should cover ourselves because of the angels. And to add to this, I would mention that we shouldn't adorn ourselves either with braids and hair accessories. Its important to humble ourselves and to keep it modest. The attention should be on the Lord, not on us. You said you'll head cover unless the Lord says not to. I agree with this, when I think about it I see less harm in covering verses not covering. Like you said, we should try and avoid being like the women of this world and not follow into the trap of the jezebel spirit. Its for our protection only we should only be seen by our abba father snd husband. AMEN! I needed this sister! I came home today SO discouraged. I'm new to a church, maybe a couple months now. I started head covering a few months ago because of holy spirit convicting me on this topic. As a new attendee, a staff member got me in touch with another homeschooling mom and we met at a park and hit it off. But we didn't attend the same service. Today I saw her in person and felt so insecure about my covering. She and I have same background in terms of the Christian university we attended (but never knew one another there). head coverings is not taught there. I guess I just felt it totally changed her opinion of me and maybe she won't feel we are as connected anymore. And it's so hard to make friends as a mom sometimes. I just left discouraged, thinking. Is this really necessary God? I'm the ONLY one doing this at this church and it's a very sound Gospel centered "Christ Alone" church. I started questioning everything. I don't want people to assume I think I'm holy or I to assume I'm judging those with a different opinion. Or think I'm unrelatable etc. I've come from such a rebellious feminist heart, and I believe God showed me this for a reason. Did you struggle with any of these feelings when starting your journey?
I'm so glad that this gave you some encouragement today. Welcome to the church my sister! Isn't it wonderful when the Holy Spirit convicts us. For me it's a way of knowing that God is directing me and completely lead the way. In terms of what happened with you and your friend, I wouldn't worry about what she thinks about you wearing a head covering. We don't cover our heads to please or displease others, we cover our heads for the Lord. So know your doing the right thing. Like for me others were talking about dressing in modest attire, but I was rebellious to it until it was revealed to me by the Holy Spirit to dress modestly. We have to remember we are all at different points in our spiritual journeys and we shouldn't judge each other. But I'll pray that she won't pass judgment on you or anyone at your church. I know how you feel, I too have a hard time making friends as a mom, especially with like minded people (those who share the Love of Christ like I do). This year has made me basically restart my walk with God and this time il basically learning everything all over again. So I can relate to your struggles and insecurities. I just remind myself, that I have to do what is well pleasing to God because my soul matters! I am the only one I know who headcovers too but hey its ok with me in the beginning it was hard but now I just hold my held high and keep walking and trusting God at the end of the day it's your soul few are going to find the way only few Jesus said
Thank you for sharing this. I too felt called to cover a few years ago but found that sadly a lot of Christians didn't understand it. But I have found so much joy, peace and comfort in it. And I even feel less attacked by the enemy, my mind is way more at calm and at peace. It may sound odd, but when i don't cover I really struggle with hard core feminismic attitudes. I'm assuming it has to do with the section about our covered heads being a symbol of us being under authority to angles in 1 Cor 11:10? Please do not be discouraged. Follow what God is calling you to do. We are not look and act like the world around us. I was called out publicly for it in church from the pulpit which was so embarrassing, but I didn't let it get to me to much because they just don't understand. In my research I studied 1 Cor 11 for months. Especailly looking into the meanings in Greek. The word for covering in 1 Corthians 11:4, 5,6,7, 13, is the word, katakalýptō, from katá, "down, and kalýptō, "to cover"-cover down, to make appropriate (complete), i.e. to wear a veil. It is the same word used for the veil that separated the Holy of holies from the priests. It is clearly taking about a peice of fabric. But vrs 15 does NOT use the same word for covering. Vrs 15. "but if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For her hair is given to her for a covering." This is a different word for "cover"= "peribolaion," that which is thrown around or a mantel that can be thrown around (As in when a women tosses or throws her hair around, or a mantel that rest on the shoulders. So hair it considered long if it touches the shoulders) tossing the hair can be very alluring to men and brings put something very negative in women. This is where we get the saying, "Let your hair down." Up until only the last generation woman covered in Church. It was only during the sexual revolution that Chriatin women in North America stopped covering their heads. ALL of our grandmothers would have covered in church. This is why the Hutterites, Mennonites, Amish, orthodox churches, and messiniac Jews (Jews who beleive in Jesus) etc still cover their hair. We are not supposed to be like the world. Thank you so much for sharing. Also Paul says twice that it is a tradition they should follow and that all the other Church's practice head covering as well. Some people might say, well if it a tradition, you shouldn't follow it. My question to them would be, do you celebrate Christmas? New Years, Thanksgiving? Ect. Well those are all man made traditions, many of them from pagan roots, and not one of the are in the Bible. So if I feel God leading me to follow a biblical tradition, that all the early church partook in, what is that to you? And why do you want me to uncover my glory? Also Paul goes on to say that if people want to be contentious or fight about it, it us up to each person individually to decide for themselves. Hello and blessings to you sister! ❤️ I cover my head all the time now. I didn't when I first started off. I covered only when I was praying and reading my Bible. I would say no it's not required to, but you may start to be convicted to cover your head even when you're alone. I say this because the Bible tells us to pray without ceasing, and you will end up praying multiple times throughout the day; as well as, having communion with the Lord which would require you to cover your head. Also, we must cover our heads because of the Angels. There are many different ways and styles to cover. You just have to find what works for you. My daughters for example where kerchiefs. Those are light and easy to wear, and they can wear them all day long. I hope this answers your question, if not let me know. 😊❤️

Shalom and hello Sister! I do not have a home church. My family and I have yet to find one that actually follows the WORD of GOD in our area. In the beginning of my walk, I watched alot of Pastor David Lynn's teachings. His ministry is called Christ Forgiveness, and you can find him on TH-cam.

I cover my head all the time now. I didn't when I first started off. I covered only when I was praying and reading my Bible. I would say no it's not required to, but you may start to be convicted to cover your head even when you're alone. I say this because the Bible tells us to pray without ceasing, and you will end up praying multiple times throughout the day; as well as, having communion with the Lord which would require you to cover your head. Also, we must cover our heads because of the Angels.
There are many different ways and styles to cover. You just have to find what works for you. My daughters for example where kerchiefs. Those are light and easy to wear, and they can wear them all day long.
