The wooden blocks with pics are Press plates for printing multi prints of the same picture! Yearbook was a great guess for portraits! My dad made the newspaper they had plates for some of the press.❤ wash your hand good old days they used arsenic to etch them with! ❤
In your new shop you should have a shelf for every holiday so you can buy all year round. So if you ever find anything good you just put on the shelf ready to sell .
Don't know if it was on older scientific cloche, but even with chips on the base, they seem to charge a lot for the Pyrex or other scientific type cloches. Used for display, cover "precious items", etc. I have a couple. Hard to find in the "wild".
My Bonnie buys over the ocean. My Bonnie buys over the sea. My Bonnie buys over the ocean. What Bonnie doesn't buy she gives it to me. lalaalalalalalalal I' m here all week folks!!!!
The clear 2 pc apparatus as you called it. Is actually a cocktail shrimp bowl. You put the ice in the bottom place the shrimp around the rim of the top & out cocktail sauce in the center. I think they might be made by candlewick. I inherited my Mother's. They look nice on a table with the cocktail forks when you're having a fancy scmancy dinner 😊
I was curious so I looked up that thing you thought was a pickle. It's a Jim Beam Decanter for The Tall Cedars of Lebanon. That's what the TCL stand for on the front. The emblem on the right says, "National Charitable Objective, The Research of Muscular Dystrophy, Labor Day New York Telethon 1971." The Tall Cedars used to sponsor the Labor Day Telethon to benefit Muscular Dystrophy and still work to raise funds for research and treatment of neuromuscular diseases. I'm only guessing but this must have been some sort of commemorative item or maybe a thank you gift for volunteers. Interesting.
Jocelyn, check out that vase with the silver base before you scrap it. I got one that is a slightly wider size. It's from 1917 or so, very valuable even with the chip. With flowers in it the chip won't be seen anyway.
4:19, that is massed produced, they do a good job of making it look handmade one of a kind. I see them all the time, I will say that one is in good condition usually the writing is faded.
You had me on a roller coaster ride with the whistling beer mug! I love collecting whistles/ocarinas. You thought about it, decided to get it, then put it back. Ugh. I was like…..NO…..YAY….BOO! LOL. You made up for it by picking up the wood blocks with photos on them. Those feed my weirdo obsession 😂😂😂😂. Gotta keep my eye out for those. It was good seeing Bonnie again.
10:46- I loved that pottery mirror! I totally would’ve grabbed it! I know you can’t buy everything though. TFS! 😊 Edit- I just love Bonnie! She’s a hoot!
15:20 Manhattan pattern Depression glass, depressingly in clear. I love it, but good luck selling it.(sigh) Tempera = water-based paint. By "student" they mean elementary school students, mostly. Bonnie - thank goodness for Bonnie.
I got one of those whistle for your beer mugs in an auction lot - gonna list on Niknax! hahaha That fork thing would be great for holding a cookbook in a kitchen! Love your videos!
Got a kick out of you looking for craft supplies right after I saved this video in my "look closely" folder with crafting ideas I might want to persue... This time for the flatware book holder. too cute!!! I've signed up for your handmade site, but need to make it past our county fair before I spend time figuring out how it all works!!!
I think you missed Polish pottery mug with info - makers tag on handle. look near 26.22 it was near the brown whistle beer mug.I was trying I tell you but of course you can hear me
Bonnie is just great and so much fun. The two of you should go to an antique mall together. She is awesome. You found cool stuff today. Quite honestly I would have come out empty handed I never would have spotted any of your cool pickups. I am curious about the nun. What the heck is she. Weird or wonderful…. lol I am totally on the fence lmao. 😂 have a great night
Take markers kind right color and you could fix a lot of scuffing or missing colors can cover it maybe not chips but maybe the rest you know the ones just missing paint tell people but yea

I would love to have those.

I thought Bonnie’s oil and vinegar find was a bong 😂😂😂
😂
A bong with grapes….what a great disguise😂
I’m a 70’s girl so I did also. 😊
Bahaha..I don’t feel alone 🙄🤣😆🤦🏻♀️
Me too.
I used to collect funny coffee mugs like that for my brother. It actually has a whistle built into the handle.
I think that black glass was actually Amethyst glass. I saw purple when you held it up and the light came through. 4:27

Corny
Ha! Bonnie is a hoot. I think it's the thrill of the find for her, that combined with a bit of socializing and she's had a great day. Win-win. ❤
Tempera paint has a chalk like finish to me. They use it in schools on poster paper a lot.

Ahhhh Bonnie. I would never have thought twice about that fork rack. She really has a great eye for the unusual! ❤❤❤

The fork thing would hold a blackboard with the menu on it for a buffet.
I definitely would have bid on/bought the pyrex cloche from you!
I love Bonnie - she's the neighbor we all want to have
The black yarn looked like t shirt yarn. You can make sturdier projects with it like purses, bags, rugs, belts…
That Blick paint is expensive. We just had a Blick store open near us. Next time you see Bonnie tell her she has fans on Facebook.
Blick is a great brand and tempera paint is perfect for little artists!
The wood blocks with the engraved metal plates on them are antique engraved printing cuts for printing Letterpress.
I saw one of those oil and vinegar bottles at the thrift store today….had no idea what it was!
I thought for sure it was for wine, like Jocelyn initially did.
Buying bells isn't the same without Andrew singing the bell song. 😂
I think that angel choir was made of bamboo.
It was beautiful!
Split palms

Just scrap the silver! That’s where the value is😊
I have that bud vase. It was my grandmother’s and the base of mine is sterling silver.
The blocks with men's faces are, I believe, to be used with ink pads and then stamped onto whatever to show the faces.
Aren't those faces sort of old printing blocks? For newspapers, back in the day.
That black vase was amethyst glass.
Such fun with Bonnie!
BONNIE! She is one of a kind! ❤
Printer's blocks, I worked in printing in the 80's
The Pyrex is called Teal Laurel Leaf. I have cups that match.
I love sewing, I like to do primitive animals and dolls. I started making baby quilts, and found my love are ‘make dos’ and such.
That amber vase good for fall decorations
I can’t imagine anyone calling you a Karen. You are always so sweet to everyone.
I resemble that!
Those brown Angels are made from BAMBOO I could tell by the sound. Looks like it too.
Thank you, you’ve blessed us with a longer than usual video! Love it! There was a lot of eclectic items to choose from. ✌🏼❤️
Loving Bonnie..she means good luck!👍🏼😄
4:19, that is massed produced, they do a good job of making it look handmade one of a kind. I see them all the time, I will say that one is in good condition usually the writing is faded.
I found one glass like that black pedal footed one you picked up. I think it’s Weston Black amethyst glasses
That was a fun shopping trip. Bonnie is so great!
Some very interesting things on the shelves to day, great finds.❤
I do like the Bovano plates and have hung or displayed a few. When I found out he made the plates from his garage I was hooked.
Wow great finds today

the fork rack /recipe book holder.... could hold a menu for an event
15:20 Manhattan pattern Depression glass, depressingly in clear. I love it, but good luck selling it.(sigh) Tempera = water-based paint. By "student" they mean elementary school students, mostly. Bonnie - thank goodness for Bonnie.
Bonnie is great:)
They won’t sell things without a price- that’s forked up!! Sorry just couldn’t resist.
Fun shopping trip. Great finds for you and Bonnie 😊😊
it's fun with your friends also!!
That paper you got is really pricey at a craft store If I find it at the Goodwill or off the Marketplace in my area I buy it
Believe that was Norman Rockwell Santa
Ohhh that cat mug was awesome
That "forked up" piece could also be used to display a menu for a dinner party. Kool find. 😊
The faces on blocks are for printing, say a newspaper or year book. Not the ink used for rubber stamps but a separate craft.
I got one of those whistle for your beer mugs in an auction lot - gonna list on Niknax! hahaha
That fork thing would be great for holding a cookbook in a kitchen!
Love your videos!
Love seeing bonnie x
Lots of art stuff today yeah
Bonnie is so great! 😊
I have one of those printing blocks online right now that has an image of a rooster. Wish I knew more about it.
You can bring it to someone, and tell them this is not priced, sometimes it will be back on the shelf before you leave.
You would also save your fellow thrifters from the same disappointment.
Long time viewer from.....Kingston, Ontario, Canada...where that deer was from! lol
I remember those green coffee cups in the 70's!! My parents had them!
I want that green pottery bowl❤
Got a kick out of you looking for craft supplies right after I saved this video in my "look closely" folder with crafting ideas I might want to persue... This time for the flatware book holder. too cute!!! I've signed up for your handmade site, but need to make it past our county fair before I spend time figuring out how it all works!!!
I have the same blue & green glass vase ! It was a GW find too !
@3:38 I think the maker of the glasses is Weston "Lily Pad"... if I remember correctly ;)
I think you missed Polish pottery mug with info - makers tag on handle. look near 26.22 it was near the brown whistle beer mug.I was trying I tell you but of course you can hear me
Nothing wong with being picky once in a while. You have tons of inventory at the shop!! LOL That is a tea clear pot for loose tea.
Fun running into Bonnie and her great finds
On wooden blocks are scientists I saw Nikola Tesla on one 😊
Love Bonnie!! ❤
18:02 It looks very similar to the Blenko #417 Moonshine jug.

This is weird. My Goodwill today had one of those beer mugs with the built in whistle! When I saw it, I figured it was a one of a kind.
Cookbook holder the fork thing
Frame 4:02 + Oh come on... You should have picked that whistle mug up for Andrew. He always liked testing whistles ( an Bells ) !! lol :~)
5:36 beside the gingerbread men mug you looked at was I think was a Rae Dunn mug that said, “my cat(?) is cuter than your boyfriend” 😂
Take markers kind right color and you could fix a lot of scuffing or missing colors can cover it maybe not chips but maybe the rest you know the ones just missing paint tell people but yea
Hi Bonnie 👋 She’s a hoot!
16:48 it is Koala! my favorite crazy fell in Koala. I have many Koalas. 😁
Angels are Bamboo
I love your videos and I’m always jealous at your finds!! 😂😂 you keep me company at work ❤❤
They use tempera paint in kindergarten classrooms!
that is a musical nun❣️
I think the blocks with photos may go to an antique printing press
Did you know the wizard clock was "Harry Potter" themed? Whomever made it did a great job. Great video! Take care!
Those press plates are crying out to be mounted together in a box frame as a piece of art.
Thanks
Hi, you just had Dumbedor and his companpion
Are those two pretty blue trinket trays Limoges? I have the dressing table set .
Spotted Dog might be a craft beer.
Kudos for not calling it a koala bear! ❤
Those angels were made of bamboo
Tempra paints are not acrylic. I think they are eggbased.
Old newspaper printer press stamps!!!
The wooden blocks are printing blocks used by artists.
Hello Joslyn, and Bonnie 😂😂❤❤
Hello Jocelyn ❤😊
You should gift that fork thing to Jacob at Berner Bros 😂
