LLL 5 Stars 0xA + damageless

In this video I obtain 5 stars in Lethal Lava Land without ever pressing A or taking damage. The stars I obtain are Boil the Big Bully, Bully the Bullies, the 100 coin star, Red-Hot Log Rolling, and 8-coin Puzzle with 15 Pieces.

Notes:
- To get to the bullies platform from the moving mesh platform (1:11), Mario needs to initiate a dive recover such that he only lands on the platform for one frame (otherwise the platform sinks too low) and the platform must be at its peak height at that point.

I also don't use the shell (I don't know if you can even get it without lava boosting).

In theory could you get all 7 with bully battery?

I'm not an expert on bully battery, but I don't know if it would be possible to get the volcano stars with it. I think the current plan for the elevator tour star is to use hyperspeed lava boosting (see th-cam.com/video/hghunpG1wYc/w-d-xo.html) in order to rise to the star. If you take lava boosting away, the only possibility left would be somehow getting some kind of upwards displacement from the elevator, which may or may not be feasible.

And that would be assuming you could get the bully down from the ledge he's on.

@@lemon9bug The original plan before the lava fall idea was to use displacement from the elevator. However, it would be a lot harder and more technical if it's even possible to do damageless.
