I know you've done way harder/better tassie hiking but I would still be so excited to see a vid of yours on the Overland Track! great content, keep it up
I love the fact, you included all the stuff up with mountains. Can't recommend you enough, always had my back, very chill and super supportive. Thanks mate.
Love the area, great video, love Mont they just supplied me some new gear....I loved going upto mount Gould and my Pelion east...so wanting to camp on mt Olympus soon....good weather like i just had after OT for the first time...all the best dude 🍺👍😎 PS.did you have a full inner or full mesh Mont...if mesh fuck your keen lol 😂🤣
We hiked up a few years ago as a sidetrip to the OT and stayed at Lake Elysia one night and down in Pine Valley Hut the next two - we hiked the Acropolis on Day 2. It was the favourite part of our hike. Next time we'll extend to Lake Helios! THanks for the vide, Helen and Geoff at slowerhiking.
Hey just found your channel and are loving it! I think it would be cool if spoke a bit about your background and your story like a little vlog Keep up the great work!
Hi Alain new here to your channel, great hike wonderful place plus you’re cute. I’m also fond of hiking., so i enjoy watching your vlogs! Looking forward to see your next adventures. Take care😊
It must have been nice to have a hiking buddy on this one... For a bit of company, especially when the weather turned sour! I also learned a couple of Tasmanian landmarks from this vlog post: Mt Ossa being Tasmania's highest peak, and that there is a Lake Helios (not mountain! not river!) 😆
Indeed
Love your videos, love that you keep the mistakes, it makes it real 😁
Always! That's just typcially me too. Haha.

Wow, that sounds like quite the adventure. A great way to finish the OT. Hope you get to Lake Helios soon.
Your filming is great. You showcase the landscape so well., and you interject it such gently deprecating humour.
Thanks Jim. Means a lot.

Thanks I'm glad you're enjoying it. More vids coming.
Du Cane is one of my favourite places. Pity you didn't get to climb many more of the abels. Next time!
True true. Unfortunately I have to go back.
Terrific vid, Alain - glad you made it back and out of that weather in one piece!
Thanks Blair. Yes, happy I didn't leave any limbs behind. 😆
I love this I spent the first 21 years of my life in Tasmania, it’s such a beautiful place - thank you for sharing 🌿
You're very welcome.
Awesome stuff mate.
Thanks mate.

Haha. Yes, you said it. Brain thinks one thing, but mouth says the other, lol. Thanks Jeremy.
Wish I had a Wayne in my life to invite me on trips 🤣
😆 I'm sure he'd love to invite everyone.
great video ,how did your mont hold up mate?
Thank you. The Mont was solid as a rock. It's nice not having to worry about a shelter blowing away - coming from a tarp.
