The video right at the end, explains how Kenny found the guys, and then reached out to them to do this song with him for his album. This video is LIT!!! Everyone did a fantastic job of doing their parts, yet still complimenting Kenny. Kenny was one of a kind. His voice was so distinct, that you had no problem picking out his voice even in a crowd. R.I.P. Kenny, you will be missed.
Wow, he reached out to them? That's quite an honor, especially considering the timing. This might have been one of the last times he collaborated. Geez he looked so spry and healthy too. I guess you never know the hour.
Stephan Ginther This was recorded back in late 2015. I think Kenny’s health started to deteriorate in 2017... he had to cancel a number of concerts towards the end of his farewell tour.
Kenny is always amazing, of course. One thing I always appreciate about Home Free is that nobody tries to steal the show. They do what is right for that performance, artistically and generously. Also, Kenny has many other wonderful duets, with Dolly Parton and others. RIP, Kenny.

He was a big name in the country world. The gambler was one of his great ones and he also did a song with Dolly Parton called "Islands In The Stream" which was very popular too. I loved Kenny doing this acapella with Home Free, it has a more jazzy feel to it.

I've watched this video many, many times and I enjoy it every time. Just as a side note, the trailer to this video shows Kenny and Home Free talking and Kenny explains how someone told him about Home Free, and he checked them out and was impressed. Kenny then contacted Home Free about a possible collaboration. It was a very nice fit.

Kenny was an incredible story teller in his music! Listen to Ruby Don’t Take your Love to Town; Coward of the County; Lucielle”; Island in the Stream; you Can’t Make an Old Friend! They almost got on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon & Kenny. Watch Story Time with Tim where he tells story of weather, etc which kept them from getting there! Nice Reaction!!

Hi y'all!!! I was hoping that y'all would do this one. I knew that y'all would like it. But then we're talking about Kenny Rogers AND Home Free!! What's not to like? I agree that Kenny and the guys complimented each other's voices so well!! But I've noticed that no matter who it is, when the guys decide to work with another artist, they are masters at that. Their blend is flawless!! Just like your reactions!!! Love them, Love them, LOVE THEM!!! Keep 'em coming and I'll keep watching and commenting. :)

Just for something different from Home Free, check out “Bring Him Home” from Les Miserables. They used to sing this to give Adam a break after his beat box solo in the show. Austin sings the lead. He is trained in classical & musical theater and worked hard to lose his southern Georgia accent. Tim said, “all that went out the window” when he joined Home Free. Austin also has a solo version of Bring Him Home in his own TH-cam channel that will bring you to tears. In my opinion, it’s actually better than the live version with Home Free. That song just doesn’t fit as well in an a capella arrangement as most of their songs.

Love this one with Kenny! I love what you two mentioned about Home Free not stealing the spotlight on this one! That’s how they are! They knew Kenny was a legend, and even referred to him that way at the end of the video. He had a great comeback, but you can tell he appreciated it. Thank you for reacting to this. One of my favorites Home Free does and with Kenny, whoa man!! Their live version performance is awesome with Chance taking the lead mostly. Check it out.
