Hi, I just found your video from a comment section and your blog is great. Just what I neeeeed for my dry eczema skin. And many failed body butters 😭😭😭. Tyyyyy

Thank you so much my toddler has eczema andthe creams and baths the doctor said to do and use isn't working lucky it's not that bad but I'm definitely will try this
Friends from India recommend neem. My friend's son had terrible eczema and nothing helped. She went to visit relatives back in India and went to the apothecary in their village. He made it into a soap and it worked. I got some neem pressed oil and I found a little cures thrush. I tried to follow recipes using fresh leaves, but..the mess I made of it is best left unsaid 😂 While I was looking for beetroot powder for this recipe, I found some neem powder. I'm not sure as yet what I am going to do with it, but I know it's useful for many things. I do hope your little one gets better. It must be awful. You're both in my prayers 🙏
Eliminate ALL dairy from his diet. Keep processed foods to a bare minimum. His skin is showing an allergic reaction to what he’s eating. These are only topical solutions to sooth his skin. Change in Diet will HEAL his skin.
...bit more information as coincidentally I was asked to help someone. The GP or a dermatologist can run tests to see if your toddler is allergic to anything. Personally, I would not remove all dairy, especially on such a young child, without knowing it is causing the problem and speaking to your doctor first. There is quite a lot that can be done. I would avoid advising anything to be taken orally as I'm not medically trained and, again, your child is very young. There is one thing I'd suggest: there is a thing called "colloidal oatmeal". It is the complete oat, which includes the nutritional part, but ground down so much that is can penetrate the skin. Run a lukewarm bath and sloosh in some colloidal oatmeal. The bath will be comfortable milky-like and hopefully soothing. You can get this stuff on eBay. Hope this helps.
Hi Elise. I've just discovered your channel and I wish I found it earlier! I'm loving all your videos so much. Im a natural therapy consultant and passionate about natural living so making my own cosmetics is a huge one for me and I'm so glad I have some new recipes to try out ❤️🌹
These are amazing! Love the concept! When I made these, the final product came out exactly as advertised! So glad I came across this recipe! Body Scrubs unleashed!!
I think polysorbet 80 would be a good addition...so that when the butter go onto the shower floor they mix well with the water and go down the drain. So it's not sticking to the shower floor. Could cause you to slip and fall.
Beautiful video, v informative while refraining from heavy music n quick flashing distracting clips one after the other. My question, this body butter is not a cleansing soap but a moisturizer, correct? For shower, I'd prefer an actual cleaning soap n then hv a moisturizing lotion in a more semi solid form. I looved the recipies but wld prefer them as lotions. Beet powder, Rose petals , oats - all my personal faves! Sendin ya some love !
Hi Elise.... Gorgeous recipe only the almond wax is not easily sourced let alone available everywhere. What can we use as a substitute? Thanks in advance. 🌻
Intriguing - I'd like to try it, but using emulsifying wax instead of pseudowax or beeswax. It would keep the tub from turning into a slippery death trap! By the way... There's no such thing as vanilla essential oil. That was a fragrance oil. :)
Hi Elise I have a question and I havent seen it asked in the comments. How easily do these bars melt in room temp I just feel like they melt so easily?
@@dannthellama actually, I made these bars, they do not melt at room temperature, but personally, after using the bars, I feel it is too much greasy to use as a scrub, they are good as body butter. Then I tried to make another batch by adding the cetyl alcohol and emulsifying wax and it worked perfectly. So please be aware of the fact that it will be greasy.
@@ST-us7kq did you leave out the almond wax and use emulsifying wax instead? And with the alcohol how did you measure it with everything else? I also felt the greasiness and wasn’t a fan
Hello, beautiful product and thank you for sharing with us. Where did you get your bee comb molds from. I love them and wanted to get some for our house. Thank you.
Ooooh my I love these little moulds. I have made honey and goats milk soap in the exact style of moulds last year and they are super cute! I like the sound of the sugar and rose petal scrub. Thank you Elsie for another wonderful tutorial 👍💓💓
Ooh, that soap must have been amazing!!! Absolutely, they're the perfect size for single-use or mini bars. Haha yeah I thought you might like that one! 😊💚
I love your videos (the music, the ambience, content and your voice). I just came across your channel and I must confess it’s amazing and I’m already watching all your videos.. your voice is really calm and soothing. Nice one and please how long do you think the bars will last without melting? Thanks for your reply 🤗🤗
Lovely video, I can’t wait to try this thank you for sharing ❤️ hope this doesn’t sound weird but your voice is soo soothing !🥰 Also can you use soy wax instead of almond wax ? I am struggling to find almond wax :(
Love the video, and I made it exactly same as you!! Came out looking beautiful HOWEVER once applied to the skin, kind of just left a thick butter all over my skin, is it something that you use as a body butter but it’s an exfoliant too so I did use it in the shower, maybe when it mixed with water it just turned into a solid butter? Not sure but it wasn’t very nice. Had to use loads of soap to get it off my arms
1. Will this start to melt if we take out of the refrigerator? 2. And ma’am if we wanna add preservative will it be okay? When should we add it?? Please reply! ❤️
If you let it set for 24hrs in the fridge the bars remain firm, but you can always keep them in the fridge if you live in a warmer climate. Yes it's fine to add one, most preservatives will be added in the cool down stage after heating but you'll need to check their respective instructions. You'll likely also need to add an emulsifier if the preservative is water based. Thanks for watching 😊

I would consider using a preservative if your not intending these to be single use bars. Introducing water to oils is a breading ground for bacteria, and while Vitamin E will extend the shelf life of the bars until their used, it won't stop the bacteria growth after the bars have been exposed to water. I definitely intend on trying these, though! They are gorgeous!
