Looking at pro Touhou players clearing extra ULTRA while you can't even 1cc SA really puts your skill into perspective. Big fat congrats on the 1k subs, you've earned it
Thanks for this. I tried it too but it's too hard for me. I even can't strat the JP version. It crashes instantly. So, I just back to the good old Extra. I had a bit trouble but I still can clear it (Even get Hourai Doll. I'm happy!) after somany times without playing Touhou. But I don't really understand why people found this extra stage so brutal... I think it's one of the easier extra (with Reimu team). The stage part is a bullet hell without any bullets most of the time, midboss has some brainless straight path for her first and last spell and Mokou spell's are impressives but have safespot or tricks to make them a lot easier. There is only the last nonspell I actually found super hard. And that's the only Ex stage I cleared with PCB one (but I cleared PCB Ex stage only once). Anyway, thanks too for Hollow Giant Woo. Your technique is nice and give me a good idea to perfect mine. Also, I don't know if you know (or maybe you just want to use it) but on Flaw of Forgiving Shrine, there is a safespot on Mokou's familar for Reimu (and all focused girls).
So that's great ^^ Well, of course it's not the hardest ultra boss. I must admit, stage part isn't anywhere so much different from the original since destroying spirits clears many bullets as well. Only the last "strongest" fairy and midboss are hard. And of course boss, but with highly skilled micrododging is actually not so hard. Yeah, I know a safespot, but I haven't thought about that in a run. And no problem for the tip for Hollow Giant Woo~
Mah dude, I think you need to start the JP version with Japanese locale, I've had this kinda problem and it fixed it, if its not working you probably need a DX8 to DX9 converter

Try LoLK in pointdevice mode, after 14356 deaths i think that will be "less harder" because "Easy" don't exist in Touhou.
