Thank you for the great and helpful video! We are going on Thursday to Phu Quoc. Do you know if it‘s possible to just visit one island to go snorkeling? For me it seems a bit stressful to go on 3 islands in one day.. what do you think? And which island was your favorite? Thanks and greets from Switzerland! 😊
Usually it’s almost always all 3 islands unless you’re doing a private tour! It may be quite tricky finding a tour even if it’s private to visit 1 island but there’s no harm in asking around the pier! If it makes you feel any better, it really wasn’t too hectic since all 3 islands are quite close together 🥰
It’s almost always reused snorkel equipment on pretty much all tours you’ll book in Asia! They clean it after every use but you can bring your own disinfectant if you wanted to!
Where did you guys stay in Phu quoc? Would you recommend resorts on long beach? Was the water as clear there as it is in the places you showed in this video?!
We personally stayed at the Movenpick Resort (agoda.tp.st/0raY6JuE) which was more secluded! Long Beach is definitely the most popular area for its close proximity to the town and often airport transfers are included for Long Beach resorts. If we were to go back we would actually stay on Khem Beach because the sand and water is the best in Phu Quoc! Here’s our recommendation for Khem Beach: agoda.tp.st/Bn3NvFpe
Oh and we didn’t visit Long Beach but knowing that it’s a lot more populated and close to the main town, we don’t believe the water will be as clear at those resorts as it was at Khem Beach!
Dead corals, unfortunately, that's all you see there. 90% of Phu Quoc was built artificially and many coral reefs were destroyed in the process. The island is nice, the cable car ride to the water park a must. But snorkelling should be done elsewhere.

The water is super clear!! I wouldn’t have expected that from Vietnam!
Us too 🥰🥰
It was lovely doing this tour and especially at the price we paid!
It really looks like paradise! The snorkeling must have been amazing!
We were pleasantly surprised with how good the snorkeling was considering Vietnam isn’t always known for it!
COME TO PHU QUOC.... and you can visit Cali Hill Resort in Duong Dong... with cafeteria and restaurant with 1,000 bird nests...
Phu Quoc looks very nice in your video 😊.
We’re glad you think so! 🥰
A good thing about Phu Quoc is you don't need a visa to visit the island if that is the only place in Vietnam you want to travel to.
Yes that’s very true! No visa needed which is really nice 😍
very helpful and a beautiful watch.. Cheers 🍻
Thanks for watching! 🙏

Hi.. are they providing a new snorkeling equipment? or reused one? is it safe to use the equipment used by some others?

Did you book directly with John's Tour?
No we booked it on Klook actually! www.klook.com/activity/10834-fingernail-island-dam-ngang-may-rut-island-day-tour-phu-quoc/?aid=39554

Yes there are much better snorkeling in neighboring countries but we were surprised you can still do it in Vietnam!
"pristine coastline" is laughable. The majority of beaches here are completely littered with debris.
