This video showed up randomly. No experience with operating anything or being around equipment like this but man that was more entertaining than anything I've watched recently.
I’ve been doing it for 5 years, since I was 19, and my favorite is front end loaders preferably volvos but I’m in the road work field, like state jobs building highways and stuff and I get to drive them in traffic and around Pensacola Fl Area lol
Im a trucker and i absolutely love watching all trypes of drivers and operators. Takes alot of talent patience and dedication to do what we do. Good job brother!!
Bro when it comes to being a heavy equipment operator its not like that’s a field that’s specifically for young men you can become a operator at anytime lol
I operate a forklift for a living currently but this just furthers my feeling of wanting to get into bigger machinery to operator. To me driving a forklift is fun, I look forward to going to work everyday. I feel like id love this job just as much if not more.
i spent two years as an operator before becoming an apprentice heavy equipment mechanic and man the day i got put into the loader was the best day of that job ever, it was an almost brand new WA475 komatsu and it was so much more fun than a rock truck, im very glad i spent my last few months in one
I really enjoy the videos where you are narrating what you were doing. Could you do a video of describing the operation a bit more? Maybe you could do a walk around to the different equipment you guys have as well?
Honestly looks so chill. I remember going with my dad plowing, seeding, harvesting fields and all that stuff some years ago. I always loved being in tractors, and driving them. One of them had the AC wings/cover broken so we put a folded towel, it was so cold the towel froze and inside the cabin it was like 15C (59F) while outside is 40+C (104F).
@Getsoil the CAT I ran had a smaller bucket compared to the Volvos and other bigger front loaders but the CAT was fast, agile and you could throw it around easier than the bigger units and get jobs done faster 🤘
Why I clicked on this video on my lunch break with the extra bit of time I had, I have no idea but I’m glad I did because it’s a really interesting video. Love from Sweden
What a cool thing to notice that I didn’t even think of. We just want to make REAL content that people can enjoy. No fake stuff here. It’s great to see the word jargon being used again too haha. 🍻
Like all the other comments, this video just showed up randomly in my suggested videos but man I have yet to see a man and machine combination this seemless. It's like you were born in one of these machines... :')
in sweden the loaders are equipped with scales, so the loader uses the same bucket (9 out of 10 times) and also can write out an reciept. we have bigger loading areas and usually there is only one operator that does it all with more efficiency and there is noone sitting at a desk/reception
That’s pretty cool your a one stop shop at your yard. We deal with a lot of home owners that need to be advised on what product will be best for their project. So we have our sales staff help them first then they come to us out in the yard.
Looks pretty accurate to what I did at a sand pit here in Florida, Running a caterpillar 966 loading end dumps, and when I wasn’t loading end dumps I was moving sand that was freshly dug up from the excavators into the crusher and from the crusher stock pile to trucks
This reminds me of my last job, i was 21 and operating a 349 excavator and oftentimes operating a 745 cat haul truck in a sand pit, sadly got laid off due to there not being enough business with the elections, hoping they start hiring again soon
I used to have the energy this guy has. Damn good at what I do, confident and competent. Then I learned I mean nothing to the company, easily replaced. Shut up and take it as you’re told. I stopped trying that day. Don’t give a fuck anymore.
Havent had as much seat time in a loader as i have bulldozers and trackhoes but i always enjoy when i get a chance to move some material around. I like running loaders
I work at a compost facility we have 2 (624P JD) and 1 (244L JD) loaders I run all 3 depending on the day, 244 is mostly refilling bunkers, general cleanup of spilt material, and or loading trucks/trailers with compost, one 624 is inside creating the mixes for compost, lot of back and forth in that one, and the other 624 is for screening, transferring, loading semi's and bunch of smaller jobs, and I gotta say they are fun to use, love my job as a loader operator at only 24 years old, always loved loaders since I was a kid, now I get to work with one 😊 and they are brand new, with 6 yard buckets, and high Lyft, the best feeling is creating Windrows at 11-12 feet and having consistent top is rewarding
Hello "Trails End", Thomas here from Czech Republic. Looks like we are doing same job, loading stone, dirt and fertilizers on peoples car trailer. Keep it up brother! :)
I recently got my license to operate machines and I hope to be able to work in them soon. Your videos help me a lot and I learn a lot from them 💪💪 greetings from Chile.
I’ve been doing these like simulators on my phone lately…. I got a trucking/bus/construction and even a grocery store simulator…. This video popped up outta nowhere but…. I am all for it…. This was really soothing and being able to see you work this and be able to load the best way is awesome…. The construction sim I have is half hauling the cat/equipment there and THEN operating a forklift/excavator/ and a loader …. Keep doing what ur doing! Ur the best of the best! Mistakes happen but we learn from it…
you guys are amazing, I love seeing those yellow trucks ever since I was a kid, I had to beg my dad to buy me one of those stainless steel Tonka Trucks xD
Weird is good !! I feel weird wearing a camera on my head at work hahah . It’s worth it tho showing you all a glimpse into our world . Really awesome you find it interesting and thank you for the subscription 🤛 much more to come !
few years ago i was running a deere 624 at a concrete plant and good god does it get boring pushing sand and rock for 14 hours a day, but looking back i seriously miss doing it as a job since it was just flat simple
You want glass cleaner, try this stuff called "Bullsnot". Buddy gave it to me. Hes a trucker, and they use it religiously to get bugs of semi windshields. Comes in a spray can just like the one you got.
interesting to see that they come in with a truck or trailer to get it themselves. In the UK, you can only have it order and they will deliver it in huge sacks and drop it off via truck crane. Noice POV!
Its just a little guy haha jk! Nice machine! I work at a ski area. Our loaders are sized for massive snow removal. We have a case 921b, 1021f and a cat 980g and our newsr purchase, a cat 972m. In the winter we run bull blades raging from 20' to 24'. We even have an 18yrd snow bucket for the 972. In the summer we end up using them for stuff that they are entirely too large for. Nice video! Dont let those arm chair operator's get under your skin
How do you make sure that each load is the same weight? Does it depend on how deep you put the blade into the gravel? (just curious, I don't know anything about this profession)
hey, love the video, one question tho! What does the little 2 way stick next to your loader joystick do? at first i assumed boom telescope but i dont think thats quite it! Thanks in advance!
We've evolved a lot over the years and have moved and a changed a lot of things, the yard flows very well right now. Definitely open to constructive criticism though!
im just curious why you chose to use the column gear shifter vs the joystick thumb shifter... i run a 930k all day and would simply not show up for work if i had to shift on the column all day lol
Did you put your seat belt on?? I've ran 980 series loaders. Fs. Hs. Ks. Ms and just a 980. 960s. And a 926. I hated it. Anyone who races to get in the seat of one of these. Is usually a terrible operator. (Not saying you are. I just know some people who love "running" equipment. But run into everything."😂
Just like driving a Tonka toy just for a grown man LOL but just like anything it's job but if you enjoy it that's what that's what really matters at the end of the day and something like that I've always loved running heavy equipment I'm on my wife's TH-cam leaving this comment God bless and stay safe
