- The nicest gun I've ever shot...the Nighthawk Custom Sand Hawk. This double stack 2011 / 1911 holds 17 rounds of 9mm, great trigger, solid optic system, perfect ascetics, and a huge port comp. The comp kills nearly all of the felt recoil which result in a soft and flat shooting handgun. These are not inexpensive handguns but they are one of nicest and smoothest 2011 money can buy.

@@TiberiousGib I tried using an Atlas Mag on my TRS Comp and it touches the feed ramp. Once I put the mag in, I can’t rack the slide back.

Love my staccato XC and TRS comp, that is until I purchased a Bul armory SASII UR-F, blows them both away. The XC amd TRS comp are pretty much the same. The UR-F is on another level.

in that price range ceracote is a no go for me. stainless, high polish blue or black nitride. like i would never wrap a ferrari, but maybe its just me.

I’m in Maryland… if we were closer I’d have you compare my Staccato XL. No comp, but longer barrel with almost no recoil. Appreciate your videos.

I prefer the Safariland but have. Blackhawk for 2011 style pistols

@@user-ui2kg4mg2b training is one thing, that can be the difference between life and death for the most part. But , a Nighthawk or Staccato XC won’t be any more/ less accurate than a g19 to an untrained shooter. Now the cost of a gun is a complaint because not everyone can afford such a cost on something that won’t necessarily make you a better shooter. It’s a the difference between buying Hanes and Prada. Both will do the same , one just might feel a lil more comfortable to wear.

Just watched this pistol fail in mud reliability test. Its a nice $6k hammer. 1911s are epic fails in 2023. But hey, everyone has their own wants & needs
