Zanscare > Makes a fairly high performance general purpose suit with no real gimmicks outside maybe the wires in it's head and feet that can be modified with different equipment. Also Zanscare > GIVE THIS HELICOPTER BUG MANDIBLES ON IT'S HEAD SO IT CAN BITE SUITS!.
I admit, the Domuttlia developement was essentially:"yeah the Tomliat is a well rounded model, capable of transforming into a warfare copter, let's make an even more militarized version. Oh? Yeah yeah let's add beam mandibles in the head, who doesn't want to bite their opponent right?"
This suit and it's successors + variants are on of the few production line MS I like in late UC when it comes from the antagonist factions. They knew what they were doing when giving it some gundam elements, but hot damn I forgot about the Rig Shokew Kai. A beam whip, compososite shield weapon while also having the basic equipment Rig Shokew and still able to fight newer generation suits? I'd love to get my hands on such a well-armed mobile suit.
The most awesome thing is that actually the Gedlav (the yellow one with the Einerad) and its related variants are said to be loosely developed from the Godzorla. This would mean the Shokew line is basically behind 90% the successful mp MS of Zanscare.

I wonder how the technologies of Federation/league militaire, Jupiter Empire/Republic and Zanscare compared to each other. Judging from gundam crossbone/steel 7/ghost, it seems the feds have way advanced techs for elite units. For instance, Jupiter developers need to create 3 units to counter crossbone gundam X1 because they can't combine the relative advantages into 1 unit. They somehow steal some techs and create the Phantom, but it can't even move. In ghost, Zanscare suits often get ass kicked by crossbone gundam X0, a suit created more than 20 years earlier. Medas is somehow interesting (specialized in electronic warfare) but overall Zanscare suits are nothing more than EXP in ghost. I know the crossbone gundams are protagonists but the fights feel not as difficult as earlier UC.
I have to slightly disagree with the Zanscare suits. Victory show us how effective their mp suits are (all the Einerad suits, even the Zolo and Zoloat are depicted as reliable assets) and how their Top class of suits (Gengaozo, Zanneck, Rig Contio) are apex predators. Sure Zanscare get trashed a lot in Ghost, but it's also mainly because Hasegawa give all the bad guys effectiveness credits to Thoucus all the time, which is fair considering the diversity and effectiveness of their suits.
BESPA was actually the SNRI branch located at the side where Zanscare first took power they were taken over and renamed into the loyal MS development of branch of Zanscare during the coo.
