I feel like the graphics of this game look better these days, and I'm realising that really they're not, they're still the same, but Pokemon Scarlet has finally succeeded in gaslighting me. Great games and video from James as usual, seems like he can't miss in Reg H!
Also, I love when James has an inevitable "Weezing moment". "No Stamina boost? But it can't be a Sturdy set..." This happens to literally every Weezing player now and then.
Yeah, in the first game like you said, it's better to spore the Ape and then ignore it until you KO other mons. It's a strategy that I often use if i'm not sure it resist my two mons damage. Since rage fist doesn't do a lot of damage without boost and drain isn't that strong. Of course we have still be careful when it does bulk up. But with this team just spore Ape and focus the others mons first until ape is alone. I don't even think that a +2 attack boost drain punch one hit knock out toedscruel.
If Annihilape gets a Triple Protect, it gets three turns of leftovers recovery and stalls Tailwind so they can outspeed and knock out Weezing afterward + possibly survive the Brave Bird from Corviknight since it went for Bulk Up earlier.

Archaludon, as in arch bridge. If the H wasn't there, it would be fitting to call it arc instead if arch (arc welding, lightning arc, etc.), but considering its pre-evo is Duraludon, for Dura (duration, durable, etc.), it seems most likely that its name would imply a structural reference, rather than its Electro Shot signature move. Or pronounce it however you want, because even official media can't find consistency with its own pronunciations, and we know what you are talking about :D
Mainly since the coverage is limited and it allows you to switch into a Spore from an Amoonguss and do something since this team doesn’t have the best ways of removing it quickly with tera. Can also run other fire moves to make up for it

@jamesaditya5254 your comment doesn't make much sense to me so to clarify: if the arch in archaludon is supposed to imply arch like in archangel as in highest then it should be pronounced arKaludon, given thousands of years of linguistic evolution. Spelling it arkaludon would be more hooked-on-phonics but it wouldnt* imply that it is great, it would imply that it is a container.
@@Notmanyusernamesleft The arch in its name is related to its design being based on a bridge. Just look at its name in other languages, which also focus on this bridge aspect. Hence, its arCHaludon.
