If you’ve ever seen singles UU, you realize how much a threat choice band Tera bug first impression from Lokix. I do think the safety goggles was a good adjustment for vgc, however.
Was just playing yesterday, I missed 3 heatwaves in a row, got crit, and the other player landed a sing, woke up from sleep on the first turn, and had two turns of Quick Claw activate. I quit for the day after that.
Araquanid is such an underrated ’mon this regulation. Was able to get top 500 on the in-game ladder with him! Gave him a grassy seed for longevity and paired next to choice band Rillaboom, that duo is a BIG threat.
Venonat with sleep powder and compound eyes is insane for trickroom. Plus eveloite with morning sun makes it super hard to KO making it a good redirection pokemon. The only worrry would be having bo damage dealing move.
Mono type community stand up. TPC really needs to start doing online global monotype challenges. And montype events exclusively for certain types only.
I think Lokix would've been much better with Sucker Punch instead of X Scizor with Dark Tera, the X Scizor and Stellar Tera feels like a waste, specially because of Lokix ability, Tinted Lens I don't think Lokix damage is that underwhelming, the problem really is the set choice of this one, maybe even the EVs spread could've been wrong placed, this Pokémon with First Impression Choice Band for example has no switch ins, its kinda similar to Gambit in a way but with no bulk, so hopefully you give to it another chance eventually Also I appreciate the frequency on the uploads, keep going! This new regulation is so fun, so many mons finally being viable
guess indeedee's psychic surge ability makes sucker punch useless, and there are quite a lot of indeedees rn I guess Xscissor has its own niche in that set rn

Curious why you would run X-Scissor on Lokix over Lunge? I feel like lunge's guaranteed attack drop is objectively superior to the heightened critical rate aside from niche matchups against the likes of Defiant/ Competitive users.

Araquanid is a funny pick... Entrainment on it is a niche but amazing pick to give water bubble to things, too.
