Man oh man do I miss the Muay Thai fight nights at Lumpinee Stadium, hopping the sky train to Mo Chit and running to the stadium to catch all the early action. The atmosphere there is simply electrifying.

I remember their first, kinda awkward sparring footage in 2010 by Yokkao where Bua kinda pushed a bit hard to try and not let Saenchai look as good as he normally does with other sparring partners who let Saencha be Saenchai. Buakaw always struck me as being a huge superstar but being a little defensive or awkward in the gym when there's a sort of competitive atmosphere or vibe. I heard really early on before TH-cam had a great MT community that he was weird around foreigners who came to train around him in gyms whenever they saw him.
But what I see now after all these years is a guy that loosened up, maybe because Bua's older and more confident in his legacy and moved onto bigger things as an adult. But I like to think Saenchai has this older brother (smaller frame) vs younger brother (but bigger sized) sort of fun rivalry/competitive dynamic between them in everything.
I like seeing Saenchai not having to be so cordial like he is to everyone outside of his inner, inner circle with Buakaw and Bua looking like he's having a great time and being competitive with his older sibling. Looks like it grew into a fun relationship between the two, again I assume Bua's a bit more sensitive, let's say if he got pocked in the face just a bit too hard, but Saenchai is the type of guy to take one on the head for the sake of humility and making it a tension-free environment.

I love Saenchai for his technicalities and I love Buakaw cause he keeps it very basic but is so 'hard' with it that its bloody scary and beautiful to watch. Ive always wondered who would win in an actual Muay Thai fight
At this point, its more of a don't laugh challenge between the two of them.
For some reason I'm a big combat sports fan like I can watch dudes doing jiu-jitsu N B entertained. For some reason I just found this guy Saenchai last night don't know what kind of algorithm I was on I'll see UFC stuff but that guy watching him almost like watching an anime character fight in real life. Haven't had the time to really get into him yet but if he looked the way she looked through and some of his highlights I've seen I don't think many men many many many many many men could take him. (With out it being a freakshow opponent. I'm going to find every second footage fighting this guy has he's simply amazing

I had never imagine, to see those two legends of muy thai love to hang around like kids. They respected each other and never get angry or annoyed of each other. Beeing mature and play around like kids. Even at that they are world class.

I've been to Thailand and was able to watch pros training. Clearly, ego is not part of their training session. To Thais, training is having fun and learning at the same time.

It is wonderful to see legends like these two fighters enjoying life and having fun. So many great Muay Thai fighters end up destitute and hooked on drugs because of the pain from the years of punishment to their bodies. I hope Saenchia and Buakaw have had good managers and have invested their earnings well so they can enjoy retirement when it comes!
