This is so rad. I've been following you too, you're a certified ripper now! As a 40 y/o getting back into skateboarding this gives me so much inspiration! Yeah thats right!
Congratulations! A 50y old beginner too here. Been following you a long time and your progression has been amazing! Keep on! I don't think I can put together more than 5 tricks haha!
Sweet tricks John you've got an uncanny back for learning things. Love the Burt slides they have lots of style points for me. I don't think there was a rock n roll in there. Keep it up John. What's next for the skating journey.
Yeah dude, the rock n roll is not one of my favourites? I learned them early on and didn’t keep them in the repertoire? I think I prefer the feeble? Hoping for Blunt Fakie next and more slappy action?
really inspiring! I re-started a year ago after a +20 year hiatus and I am also working on my 50 tricks video before I turn 50 this year - but nowhere near your skill level! keep it up! I love watching your videos!
You rock! Thanks for the endless inspiration. Bought AA Heron deck becuase of your videos. It arrived few days ago and I finally managed to do my first axlestalls and today first decend grind. Took me a year to conquer those. The right size of the deck made it much easier. I love coming back to your videos. Happy birthday Jon!
Frontside grind , in case you stay more in the ramp, more beginnery like your said, it’s called slasher) you get some in the middle between slasher and standup grind) I love to do standup 5-0 in pools❤respect for your passion! And yes, you progressed really nice 🤘🫶
I’ve followed your journey through most of these tricks and what a journey it’s been! Happy belated birthday Jon keep the vids coming they’re inspirational!
how you can be so cool and started skating so late!! 😅 man that's AWESOME! so much inspiration! This is my first year in skateboarding and I'm 33, I watched your videos and was shocked how fast you progressed. This videos are also a big motivation for me. A lot of respect and thanks for you're doing! 💪 ps. can't believe you're 50 😄, looking much younger. Hello from Ukraine
@@JonBishopSkate Thanks man! Yeah, you definitely have a great potential and it'd be nice to see you at 30, but I want to look at it from another direction and just say I wish I could skating at 50 like you! 😉
