    This is great, Jon. There is nothing dead simple (as some may regard it) about any tail stall when learning it: once you are up there near the coping, fakie, it can feel like no man's land.

    Those falls face first into the deep end looked scary. Well done for nailing it!

    Man, I really like your style and approach.
    So good to see someone grown up struggling with the same issues, I am coping with myself.
    Thanks for motivating me to try that stuff myself.
    Your FS smith (TH-cam short) was really inspiring. I really wish I could nail it as safe as you did.
    Keep it coming, mate!

    Great stuff mate ! Lots of balls required for blasting fakie down that waterfall and up the wall let alone the tail stall at the top, Timing is so critical with tail stalls you just gotta grit your teeth and feel them out and you did an amazing job of that well done 👏🏼👏🏼🔥🔥👊🏼👊🏼

    Well done Jon🤟 fakie ollie would be a good one from this.

      weird coincidence : "fakie ollie" + Jon's "unintentionally-stepping-back-on-the-board-while-bailing" brought me to the hospital last year. shattered wrist. not a difficult trick, but it can be tricky if something goes wrong since you need to get your board out of your way.

      @@keeperofthelostpipe I broke my collarbone on a tiny stone about 10wks ago. That's Skateboarding for you, you never quite know what's going to go wrong. Hope you're good now dude!

      Yeah dude, I thought the same?! I’ve been wanting to try on the vert, but it’s another proper scary one!

    • @keeperofthelostpipe
      @keeperofthelostpipe 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Brusselsproutsk8 yeah, anything can go wrong on a bad day... my wrist is ok now, hope your collarbone heals up quickly!

      @@JonBishopSkate it's less scary on a vertramp than in a tight pool since it's a lot easier to get off the board in case something goes wrong. basically, it's only popping the wheels of the back truck against the coping, hovering shortly over the board and landing it... (you can start out below the coping and work your way up from there, but it's more of a proper ollie then)
