They really loved each other. Yes she was a radiant and happy bride because she married the man she loved. She caught Andrew's heart and he was so captivated by her you could see the way he looked at her. Sadly they divorced because Sarah had made a fatal mistake in their marriage BUT though divorced they still live together at the Royal Lodge (if that is true then I would say "Bravo!" because I'd like them to be together again till the end) to the chagrin of Prince Phillip. she has made a lot of mistakes. but one thing is for real, after they divorced, Andrew hasn't smiled again. he looks miserable, lonely, and bitter. the only times I've seen him smiling after their divorce, are where he is with her and their children. and don't remember seing any new of him going out with anybody else ever since. if he is, he really makes sure to keep that in complete privacy. I believe they should just remarry. if the queen accepted Charles to marry Camilla regardless of her past so Charles could be happy, why not do same so her other son can be happy too?

I know this comes years after your post but here's why: Charles is the next king with a direct heir of his own to take the eventual kingship, with William having now secured another future male monarch......and Andrew has none of things. In this sort of hierarchy, future kings will have privileges others won't and so rules are bent or broken to prevent further instability of the system as a whole.

I think Andrew was deeply hurt by Sarah's betrayal. He hardly ever smiles anymore and he was one of the most happy-go-lucky guys before her. Don't know why he continues to support her after all the money she's gotten from her relationship with him.

I am SO sorry if I so much implied that Sarah's daughters don't love her...she is a very good mother and I know there is love all over the place....in fact, I truly believe that had Sarah and Prince Andrew been given a chance they could have been happily married. I still regard them as for entertainment purposes but they are human beings and Sarah has some real issues...all families do, but theirs are played out in the press...I am hardly w/o faults and have done some crazy things that I regret!

I always thought Andrew and Sarah probably had an open marriage anyway, maybe not immediately after their wedding, but Andrew was away a lot, and definitely had a roving eye, so it was just how it evolved. But, Andrew who was supposed to be the Queen’s favourite son, just had to obey the Royal command to divorce his wife! But, it’s all in the past now, and I don’t doubt when the Duke of Edinburgh has passed on, Sarah will be firmly back within the fold, and maybe even married again.
Maybe that divorce never happened? They still wear their rings and she's still called the duchess of York. Why?

The press, especially the British press, tells you about everything that is not socially acceptable. They make it up if it is not juicy enough. But her daughters will remember the loving times between mothers and daughters. Times that they treasure and we know little about. I'm not sure many of us would look that great if the press decided to take us apart. Look at our lovely Congress and Phillip. He is just to close to the thrown to have too many stones thrown at him.
