Thank you, Elise, for being part of my day. I started crocheting in August, 2024 after retiring and have been completely hooked (pun intended) ever since and you’re one of the reasons. Your enthusiasm enthuses me. I’m a retired university librarian so your love of learning new things and the research you put into that warms my heart. Your spirit and fearlessness (yes, YOU are fearless) inspires me. Your ability to laugh at yourself is endearing. Keep believing in yourself and reminding us to believe in ourselves. Oh, I’m also a cat lady so I love seeing Olive and Pickle. ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Elise I’m 11 years old and love crocheting and knitting. right now I am crocheting Toni’s flatiron shawl. I really like your channel.
Rose

That's amazing!! Thanks for sharing!! 🧶
Bronwyn shawl (Love TL yarn crafts tutorials!!) or the super simple log cabin shawl ! On my list to make 😊Thanks for all the ideas ! ❤
Those are both gorgeous shawls! 🧶🧶🧶
Hi Elise I'm 13 years old and learning how to crochet
I really enjoy your videos and yarn reviews
I'm from Mexico and there are not many options of yarns
Can you do a video were you buy yarns from Amazon Mexico recomend some and that have an adorable price different tipes and wich are the best for diferent tipes of projects ( shawls, bags, amigrumi etc).
Love your videos ❤️
Wonderful! Thank you so much for the video suggestion! ❤️ Use the yarns you have available to you! I hope you find some yarns you love!! 🧶🧶🧶
I need to agree, I'm always so happy when you have a new video posted. The shawls are all so gorgeous!! I think Adinda's World Crochet has designed the most beautiful shawls I have ever seen!
Adinda is amazing! Her designs are just so inspiring! 🧶🧶🧶
I'm thinking the Log Cabin shawl must be one of my next projects. It looks simple and complicated at the same time! TFS ❤❤❤
It's one of my faves too!! 🧶🧶🧶
So many beauttiful shawls, cant choose only one, cant choose two or three or four nope many..... Me and my husband has also been married for 30 years this year!!❤❤❤❤
Oh wow!! 1995 was a good year to get married!! Can't believe it was 30 years ago! 🧶🧶🧶
So many gorgeous patterns! 🤫rest assured, i will not tell anyone about your nee….errr, desire to increase your stash with chunky yarn. as you intend to use it, no judgement here.😚
That is SO kind of you! 🤣🤣🤣
The shawls are very beautiful
I'm so glad you like them! 🧶🧶🧶
Love the colours you chose for the first shawl, so juicy and summery. The Adinda shawls appeal to me. If you like those you’ll probably also like Pollevie who does similar delightfully maximal, folky, flowery shawls 😊 Definitely on my to-make list… as I watched I was finishing off a crochet sun hat as it’s very hot here in Aus.
Thank you!! I loved the colors too!! And thank you for sharing the other creator! 🧶🧶🧶
The Autumn Skies shawl by Fiber Flux is my go-to gifting shawl pattern. I make use of one whole mandala cake yarn.
Oooh! Thank you for sharing! 🧶🧶🧶
When Saturday morning comes one of the first things I do when I wake up is look for a new Elise Rose video. 🤗😇
I love hearing that! 🧶❤️ thank you! 🥰
I have a pattern owl shawl that I got from Etsy. I don’t use shawls but I make them for window dressings. I know it sounds weird but I m a hippie so many shawls could be used as a skirt…..well thanks for this toot❤
That's so much fun!! Love it! 🧶🧶🧶
Loved them all 😊❤
Me too! 🧶🧶🧶
Thank you Elise I love when you put up a new video the shawls are gorgeous so talented all the designers.your right it makes me want to start one right now..love your channel blessings.💖💖💖
You are so welcome! 🤗
Some of them are really wonderful! Thank you, dear Elise Rose, for showing us 😊!
Glad you like them! 🧶🧶🧶
Thank for showing me how to pronounce Sheepjes! It’s one of my favorite yarns to work with for amigurumi and I have been saying it wrong for years now lol I absolutely love LOVE the last shawls with the Robin and the roses and cherry blossoms!!!! 🌸 just gorgeous!
I'm so glad it helped! I recently learned how to say it! And the robin shawl is calling my name!!! 🪶🪹🧶❤️
Congrats on 30 yr anniversary! That is almost unheard of these days!🥰. So glad you guys got to make it special & go on a fun trip with just you & him! We will have our 25th this year & I feel so blessed to have married my best friend❤ Congratulations again ❣️!

After watching this video I have a huge problem: which one should I pick up first?? They all are completely gorgeous. Congrats on your wedding aniversary. I'm glad you chose a Hotels brand from Spain (Meliá). I hope you had a good time over there in Republica Dominicana. Regards from the Canary Islands, Spain.
Thank you sooo much! We enjoyed the Dominican Republic so much and would love to go back! 🇩🇴
Hello lovely Elise😊, Congratulations and Happy 30th Anniversary to u and your Hubby. What a beautiful trip u had to celebrate💗🙏.

@EliseRoseCrochet That is so wonderful to hear. 💗💗🙏🙏
Oooooo, I'm a very simple stitcher 😂 I'm going to stash bust with the granny shawl. I have so much stylecraft yarn, it will be great. 😊
Wonderful! 🧶🧶🧶
Hi Elise! I'm enjoying your videos so much because you are so joyful and you have so much great information and experience to share with us.
That's wonderful!!! Yes! I'm still here! I'm thinking of planning a meet and greet! I'll keep everyone posted!! 🧶🧶🧶
I’ve been looking to try my hand at wearables , but I’m a little gun-shy. I think a shawl is a good place to start and Toni’s Bronwyn is my pick. Good luck to me! Elise, love all your videos😀
That is such a great pick! You’ll love it! 🧶🧶🧶
Omg!!!!! Pick one favorite???? Impossible lol. I absolutely love Toni so her shawl is top on my list.
Side note… I’m working on shawls now for a charity that Tiffany (crochet with Tiffany) is hosting. I did it a couple years ago. Very rewarding. Thanks for all the fabulous inspiration Elise ❤❤❤
That's amazing! I love Tiffany, she's so talented! 🧶🧶🧶
Thanks so much for including mij shawl!! ❤🥰

And, your bloopers ! 😅❤
I'm so glad you liked them! 🧶🧶🧶
Hi Elise, my name is Cecibelle and I am from Panama. I loved all the shawls that you selected and my favorite was the Erulisse Shawl. One of my favorites of all times is the Ana Lucia Shawl from Wilma Westenberg, such an amazing shawl and the story behind it. Hope you like it too. I love all of your videos. Thank you for all of your work and keep on enjoy your art!
Thank you so much for sharing!! I'll have to check that one out! 🧶🧶🧶
I will try at least one. I have lost my crojo and this has made me excited to get back into it.
That's awesome! I'm so glad you're feeling inspired again! 🧶🧶🧶
I can see the granny and log cabin on my hook soon! ty
Me too!! 🧶🧶🧶
My favorite that appeals to me is the Log Cabin Shawl. Has so much potential for creativity with one’s choice of colors. Thank you for the presentation! 🎉
I love that one too!! 🧶🧶🧶
Elise, these Shawls are BREATHTAKING!!! Awesome video! Thank you so much!!!
I am so glad you like them! 🧶🧶🧶
Would you ever recreate your early projects. From when you first started crocheting/knitting. Seeing how far you've come, use new techniques, yarn choice??? I'd love to see your ideas!!! ❤❤
That's a fun idea! Thanks for sharing! 🧶🧶🧶
Elise your channel is so fun to listen to
Thank you so much!! 🧶🧶🧶
Wow! All of these shawls are so beautiful 🤩 I am inspired to make one…all 😂 hard to choose which one to start with! Thanks for a wonderful video! ❤
I’m so glad you enjoyed them!! 🧶🧶🧶
i haven’t particularly wanted to make a shawl but i’m definitely going to be making at least 1 of these. your excitement for crochet is infectious! 🫶🏼
I'm so glad you enjoyed them! I want to make them all!! 🧶🤣❤️
What a fun video you put together!❤ I'm doing a prayer shawl by Michael Sellick. I'm using Caron Big Cakes yarn 🙂
Wonderful! Thank you for sharing! 🧶🧶🧶

Awww! 🥰 Thank you so much! 🧶🧶🧶
You sincerely deserve that compliment! All the best to you and your family!❤@@EliseRoseCrochet
Nautikrall is my favorite. I’ve been wanting to make that one for a while. Love your posts!
I’m so glad you enjoy them! 🧶🧶🧶
So serendipitous. I just opened TH-cam to look for a fun shawl pattern for my first skein of hand dyed and drop spindle spun yarn. What lovely choices and fantastic video production.
Oh my goodness!! That is pretty crazy!! 🧶🧶🧶
I’ve only made granny shawls in my crochet life. I’ll have to put one of these in the queue after I’ve made my little pocket dollys. I’m currently making straw animal’s Coraline doll for my granddaughter ‘s birthday ☺️. Have a great weekend 👍🏼🧶
Oh I love her little Coraline doll!! ❤️❤️❤️
🎉❤ Thank you for this video! I have some Hobbii Cotton Kings Sultan Deluxe that I want to use to make a couple shawls out of. It is a beautiful color changing yarn and you gave me some fabulous ideas. Love your bloopers! ❤❤❤
Wonderful!! It's always so nice to be able to use up yarns in our stash! 🧶🧶🧶
Wow to all of them. My favourite is the Hygge Scheepjes Shaw and thank you for the link. I have only ever done Granny's before so not sure how long it will take me. Wish me luck xx
Wonderful!!! That one is soooo gorgeous! 🧶🧶🧶
Oh my goodness…Adinda’s work is amazing!! Might take me a year to finish but what a happy project!❤
That's exactly how I feel!! I just want to make one! 🧶🧶🧶
I still love Toni's Montego shawl. I think I made a dozen of them last year with the Mandala Bonus yarn by Lion's Brand last year and gave them to many ladies at church. Right now I am making a Texas Tech blanket for a lady at church going through their Veterinary program and about to graduate. I have also a woolen scarf on my knitting needles to give to a young lady heading to the Army and moving to Alaska for 3 years after bootcamp. I have so many projects and a little time to do each. LOL
Sounds like you've got some amazing projects going on!! 🧶🧶🧶
These are amazing, thank you for sharing. I put 2 of Adindas patterns in my cart, I am very excited to make them. My favorite pattern is a diamond lace shawl I made for my mother many years ago. I kept it after her passing, and treasure it. I have been unable to find that exact pattern, which makes it even more precious. Enjoy your channel. ❤
I am so sorry for your loss, it is truly touching that you treasure your mother's shawl. It sounds like it was a very special gift. 💝
The second I saw you had a new video up, I had to put down my breakfast-laden fork and click! 😂😂😂 my current WIP is a shawl for my mom. I love what you said around the 7:50-8:00 mark, the different reasons crafters create things! so relatable. I also have Expression Fiber Arts’ Sunset Diamonds pattern lined up to make. Still deciding on yarns to use though. You just gave me a wonderful set of new shawls to choose from! Thank you!!!
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! 🧶🧶🧶
I love everything Wilma designs 💕
She is so talented! 🧶🧶🧶
I love watching your videos. I love your energy and your hubby is adorable.
These patterns are beautiful! I've been looking for something to do with some fingering weight. One of those would work 😊. Thank you for doing these videos.
good timing! im gonna make my grandma a shawl for her birthday
Wonderful!! 🎂
Hi Elise Rose. My fave is the knit-whimsy of the Capricious Shawl. Thanks for sharing!
I just love that one too! 🧶❤️
They’re all lovely but one of my favs. is write a line, erase a line.
That one is spectacular!! 🧶🧶🧶
I love Bag o Day's 3 D Reversible shawl. One row repeat or maybe 2, at any rate it is beautiful and so easy to throw in a bag for on the go, which I always have packed.
Sounds gorgeous! Thanks for sharing! 🧶🧶🧶
Our Prayer Shawl Minstry has dozens of bins full of Red Heart yarn and I need patterns to use. Thanks for these patterns!
That's amazing!! 🧶🧶🧶
Hi Elise. Once again you have a collection of beautiful designs. It's too hard to pick a favorite.
I know! They are all so gorgeous! 🧶🧶🧶
I want to make them all! Beautiful, beautiful shawls.
Me too!!! 🧶🧶🧶
Agree 👍
Thank you for this video, Even though I'm not a shawl person, these pieces are beautiful. I liked the one that is done by Werda, I could turn it into a wrap. by the way, Warda's name means a flower in Arabic, a single flower her name suits her perfectly. TL Yarn it's a must. I've seen it on her chan but forgot about it, thank you for adding it to the collection. Again it will be a warp for me.
Take care, Much ❤from🍁Happy belated wedding anniversary.
All of them are beautiful! The perfect range from beginner to expert. I'm definitely saving this in my 'Project Ideas' playlist. Thanks Elise 😊✨️🧶
I'm so glad you enjoyed them!! 🧶🧶🧶
Oh my goodness Elise, which one to make first, they are absolutely gorgeous.
That’s what I’m saying! They’re all so beautiful! 🧶🧶🧶
These shawls are so pretty and modern looking. Thank you
You're so welcome! I'm glad you liked them! 🧶🧶🧶
You‘re right! Some of them I really do want to make right now!
Haha!! There are so many gorgeous shawl patterns to crochet! 🧶🧶🧶
Love it . Those designs all make me happy. ❤❤❤❤❤😊
Me too!!! 🧶🧶🧶
I love to make shawls! I going to have to do some of these! Lol! I need some stash budgets too.
I love this collection of shawls! And some of them would make great stash busters! 🧶🧶🧶
I should have mentioned that bag o day has some beautiful shawls too. Some of them are pretty easy to do but lovely. Great for a beginner!
I have added two of them to my to do list. thank you
I'm so glad you found some to make! 🧶🧶🧶
Shawls are my favorite thing to make. I have made two of the ones on this list: the one designed for Expression Fiber Arts, and the one designed by Toni from TL Yarn Crafts. The Bronwyn Shawl by Toni has an optional applied I-cord edging instead of the bobbles. I chose the I-cord edging. It truly is a show stopper.
Oooh! I bet it's gorgeous!!! 😍😍😍
I am using Stylecraft Special Chunky for a TL Yarn Crafts pattern, and it is so much fun to work with!
Oooh! Good to know!!! 🧶🧶🧶
I love the kaleidoscope shawl by yarnspirations I love the Robin shawl that you showed us 💓
Thank you so much for sharing! 🧶🧶🧶
@EliseRoseCrochet your very welcome I love your channel 💓
First of all I have noticed in the last few videos how beautiful your skin is!!! I made my first quilt at 9...it was a log cabin out of red and white gingham. It started with 1 inch squares, 1/2 inch, 1/4inch and then a solid red. Do my pick is the Lincoln log you showed. I have a mix of yarns to use up. But they were all just gorgeous!!! So are you!!!
Thank you so much!! 🥰 And I love the log cabin shawl too!! 🧶🧶🧶
These are all spectacular! I cannot pick a favorite bu hope to make several this year!
That is awesome!! I'm so glad you liked them! 🧶🧶🧶
I loved this video! I have been wanting to make one of Adinda's World's patterns for some time. Your video is giving me the nudge to get started! In 2024 I made two capelets from Sue Maton/The Mercerie. They are beautiful and challenging patterns and I was so thrilled to finish them!
That is awesome!! I need to check those out too! 🧶🧶🧶
They're all so beautiful!
Thank you, Rhonda! I love them all!! 🧶🧶🧶
The first crocheted shawl I every did was the Virus pattern. I was lucky to find a video of how to do it because I didn't know how to read charts back then. It's such a pretty pattern.
Oooh!! Sounds gorgeous! 🧶🧶🧶🧶
@@EliseRoseCrochet It's a very addictive pattern. I actually learned to crochet because I saw a picture of it on Ravelry and wanted one.
This is perfect! I was just looking at shawl patterns yesterday. My mom has been wanting one so for Christmas I said I would make one of her choosing. She hasn't picked a pattern yet, so I will have to show her these.
I'm so glad it was good timing!! ⏱️
Happy anniversary....thx for sharing...get to learn a lot from you....
I love this video!!! I’ve been trying to find some good shawl patterns and these are beautiful! ❤
Glad it was helpful! 🧶🧶🧶
This is one of my favorite style of videos from you Elise. A collection of patterns! Loving them all.... uhh where to start. The Log Cabin by Attys, in black and white maybe 🤔
I love that one too! 🧶🧶🧶
Got my tea, and settled in to enjoy your ideas. Good ones, by the way. Unfortunately I am in the middle of making a shawl to clean out a section of my yarn stash. It's my own design, and it is not great, but it gets rid of certain yarns. It will be fine to wear at home on those chilly/rainy Spring or Fall days. It was fun watching these patterns.
I’m glad you enjoyed the video! 🧶🧶🧶
You are just the best! So fun to watch you and see your finds. I always enjoy getting notified that you have released a new video. Thanks ! Linda
Thank you so much, Linda! I'm so glad you enjoy them! ❤️
I made the sunset diamonds shawl for my wedding
Oh wow!!! I bet it was gorgeous!!! 🧶🧶🧶
I'm currently knitting the granny shawl for a friend who is going through a hard time. I'm doing it in dk. I'm not an experienced crochet so this is a good one for me.
I love that one!! 🧶🧶🧶
I make shawls for charity. But, oh my, your shawls add so much pop to my projects.
That is such a wonderful thing to do!! 🧶🧶🧶
Love the shawl.... My job in my younger years was "finishing" crochet and knit items for customers... I learned so much from it...Not sure if it's available anywhere, but a final row around edges is always right for a nice finish... play with hook size and never hesitate to shrink it in with decreases.. sharpen corners etc... i especially love the "backwards crochet" or "rick rack stitch" for keeping things rigid! Love your channel! Hugs, GrammaBabs
Thank you so much for sharing GrammaBabs!! ❤️ What great tips! 🧶🧶🧶
Ok Elise you have added to my yarn addiction today. Why do you have such good taste in patterns. I usually buy at least two patterns each time you have a video. I couldn’t resist buying the browyn shaw by Toni. She is such a joy. I also purchased the rainbow colored shaw that could be made in a solid color. So beautiful! Thanks Elise for your content. I get happy when I see the notification of a new Elise video.
I'm so glad you enjoyed all the patterns!! These really are a special bunch! 🧶🧶🧶
I Love Them All ! ! ! WOW How do I choose ? ? ? Thanks so much Elise and where do you usually get your yarn as that is so important .............. Love you and your show and I've learned so much from you ...............
I buy my yarns in so many different places but mostly online! I've linked all the yarns I shared in the description box! 📦
Thank you! The shawls are beautiful 😊
I'm so glad you liked them! 🧶🧶🧶
What a treat! These shawls were so fun. I might have to try to convert a few into ponchos. I think it's going to be a poncho year for me.
Wonderful!! Thanks for sharing! 🧶🧶🧶
Fantastic collection of shawl patterns! Thank you. I love the happy, whimsical patterns from Adina’s World Crochet! 🧶🦋
Me too!! They are gorgeous!! 🧶🧶🧶
You couldn't have made a video more likely to get my attention! I love making shawls and will have to add most of these to my to do list. Check out shawls by Steve Rosseau. His designs are ah-mazing! They're well written and easy to follow.
Oooh! Thank you for sharing!! 🧶🧶🧶
All of those are so pretty! The last 3 are show stoppers for sure! I kind of like the simple ones right now tho, as trends are going towards that single color with some pretty stitch work, yet I'd have to say the one that was made for Expression Fiber Arts might be my favorite.
That one really is spectacular!! 😍😍😍
The log cabin shawl is going on my list because I have tons of Special DK that I need to use. Also the Bronwyn shawl. I’ve admired it for years so now is the time to actually make it!
Wonderful!! I love both of those too! 🧶🧶🧶
Beautiful 😻❤️ patterns thank you 🧶
I'm
So glad you like them! 🧶🧶🧶
Thank you for sharing these beautiful shawls.
You're so welcome! 🧶🧶🧶
There were so many to chose from. I liked the log cabin and the capricious shawl. Write a line erase a line and the sunset diamond shawl
Those are all sooo gorgeous!! 🧶🧶🧶
They are all breathtaking! Thank you for sharing. Ok I have lots of yarn to buy, see ya in the late spring.
That is so awesome! I'm so glad you liked them! 🧶🧶🧶
