Oh thank you! I’m trying to master landscapes too 😅 I might even try another medium but I’m sticking to watercolor for a little bit longer. So glad you are enjoying the landscape videos-they are fun to paint
I am a great grandmother - the sound of your boys playing is like music to my ears! No apology ever needed for that! Enjoyed this painting - nice touches with the glazing and the shadows in the right hand trees. Thank you for this - lovely!!
Thanks so much! I’m so glad it was helpful ❤️ and thank you for the sweet comments about my boys making noise, hah! I try to keep it from being a distraction-which I worry is unprofessional-but in the end it’s part of my life and I don’t want to shush them for my hobby ❤️ thank you for understanding!
I totally agree with the great grandma…as a grandma myself I LOVE the sound of the kids. Adorable and not distracting at all. ❤ I love painting and appreciate your detailed thought process. Thank you!
Thanks for another great video. I really enjoy your commentaries; it's incredibly helpful that you talk through the thought process that you went through as well as the actual practical techniques - for us newbies, it's invaluable insight into the mindset and approach of a proper artist.
Oh good! That’s what I would have wanted when I first started but I couldn’t find it, so I learned and made the videos myself! Haha So glad it’s helpful and you are enjoying it-thank you for taking the time to leave a comment ❤️ it really encourages me to keep making videos
Wow I feel so fortunate to have found you! I’m new to watercolors and appreciate your detailed tutorial. Your description of each choice-color, water to pigment ratio, shape, intention-is the best. It’s so easy as a teacher to do something automatically and forget to explain it, and then students who are trying to get the same results go off track and don’t know why. I love hearing your boys too! It’s sweet and relaxing. Thank you for such a lovely experience.
Oh yay! That’s exactly my goal-I want to help you to learn what I already know so that you can apply these things to your own artwork or future problem solving. Also, thank you for your patience with the boys, haha!
Thank you for watching and for pushing me to try something new! What should we paint next??
I love your landscapes. My goal this year is to grow my landscapes up a bit and yours are good example. Thank you!

You are so kind, thank you for understanding and writing to encourage me! ❤️❤️❤️
I love the softness!
Oh I’m so glad! I was a little worried that most people would just be disappointed because it isn’t as bright as other sunsets
This is lovely! Thank you for sharing. I hope to put to use what you taught me today.
So glad you found it helpful!! ❤❤❤
Baby voices are so adorable.
They are the best ❤️❤️❤️

I love this one! I struggle with not overworking my landscapes. You've added many layers but it doesn't look overworked.
The trick is not having too much water or pigment on the brush! Takes a little practice but dabbing your brush off helps a ton ❤️
