@@MarkoAssi_pokervlogger Super late but Squier is a brand of budget guitars made by Fender. Fender makes some of the best guitars in the world, and their budget line Squiers are known for being quality instruments, especially for beginners, at a much lower price. So OP is just saying the cheaper mic is still quality, and for guitar nerds that Squier analogy is extremely helpful.

    Lyrics?
    "Considered sounds of sibilance,
    Explosive plosives, pickup patterns,
Hands that patter, das keys clatter,
    Are they coming through?
And do you all consider me
    More thunderous through proximity?
Or need I stay four feet away,
    Hmm something yeah Bandrew"
    ...always finish strong.

  • @Vertshark
    @Vertshark 5 ปีที่แล้ว +36

The SM58 had less handling noise (which if always in a holder for like podcasting doesn't matter), better noise rejection, and handles plosives better. The question remains is that worth the 2 1/2 times greater price when the PGA48 sounded good too. I would love to see a shootout with under $50 dynamic mics especially the Behringer 8500

    I bought a Tonor BM-700 kit back in 2017.
I bought a Behringer UM2 about a year later because I was sick of the XLR-3.5mm sound.
Last week the BM-700 started making this horrible clicking sound.
Then I saw this review and this was the only option with 1 day shipping, and I had to record a podcast the next night.

I use it's predecessor the PG48 as my desktop microphone for work calls and gaming/Discord. I agree the noise handling isnt the best but as long as you have a gate setup and a isolation mount or a mic stand on the floor it doesn't pick up any extranious noise. I've had it for 16 years and I get compliments on sound quality all the time. Amazing general use mic for under $50!

Fastest click on the notification. Nice review, like always. How do you think this guy will perform connected via a XLR-USB cable directly to a laptop? Would be awesome if you can show this test or make another video with other types of connections that can be used with this mic

    Song for microphones with stickers:
Some say you are a bonus
But you make me want to throw this
    Desk across the ocean.
You’re a waste of paper and you need to know it.

If you have decent preamps it will most likely be more than fine for the job

Hey man great content! Wanted to know your honest opinion about de PGA48 vs XM5800. I’m struggling to decide which one to buy. The main purpose for the mic will be singing. Thanks in advance!

Hello Bandru. Im your fan and I bought many microphone by now haha. I really like your new videos you put sense of humor, before you look so serious. Now you are funny and nice. I just wonder why when I record with PGA48 and direct moitor the sound is great from my speakers and loud but if I save that recording and play it in my phone the voice is very quiet I asked this from many experts yet dont have any good idea the only thing is I think I need editing and compressing with DAW. I Also increased the gain the result is good for monitor speakers but my laptop speaker and phone still sound quiet. Since most of people watch youtube with their phone so I need to be loud also on their phone . How is it that your video with same PGA48 and no editing sound loud enough for me to watch it in youtube? Please reply me before I buy many other mixer or things. I already have Mic+Usb Interface with phantom power 48+Laptop.

Hello Bandrew, Can you please test out the headworn Cardioid dynamic microphones like Audio-Technica PRO-8HEcW and Shure WH20XLR.
I found almost zero test videos of them on internet. I think these mics works great for dragon users who work in noisy environment.
If possible kindly review these mics too. :)
