I suggest using a metal bowl for melting. Also just let it melt, no need to constantly mix. Using normal whipping cream is totally fine! It’s not disastrous!

100 mL and 100 g are the same. 2/5 of a cup if you are using that method, but I highly recommend you get a digital scale, it will make your life much easier, and your baking more consistent. I'm from the USA and I use a scale almost exclusively now.

I don't know how but like it split like ghee and butter. Like dough and liquid. After that i went on TH-cam thinking i had done something wrong. found your video And like you executed it perfectly. Please let me know what could have went wrong and how can I improve it.
Hey, setting it before whipping will depend on the climate around you. It can take 15 mins to even an hour and half to 5-6 hours also if it’s too hot. As you have to set it in room temperature. Not in the fridge.
both whipped n non whipped can be used to frost the cake..non whipped one is more sturdy and is usually used under fondants.. whipped one is more easily spreadable.people usually use whipped one inside of cake and ninwhipped one to cover the cake but there is no rule u can use anyone❤
