When you're deny ILR, you'll be given an option to appeal based upon the reason. If you breached your agreement such as working above the stipulated hours, there is possibility for you to appeal this and you're likely to win. But if you're refuse on age, fraud etc you'll not be given the opportunity to appeal in any way and you're at risk of loosing your stay in the UK. My advice to the victim is to carefully look at the decision to see if there is an option to appeal?

If you have no recourse to public funds then it is no. Child benefits are public funds, ask an immigration solicitor as well if your spouse has access to public funds then it is alright.

If you are on a tier 2 visa or a visa with no recourse to public funds then you are not eligible for child benefit. It's clearly stated in gov.uk. like Nanelle said if you call home office, they will still give a disclaimer to you to go to gov.uk

Council tax discounts and exemptions are not ‘public funds’ for immigration purposes, and therefore can be accessed by a person with no recourse to public funds if they meet the qualifying criteria.

Do you mean doing 39hrs with the second employer? I don’t think it’s right. From what I know, your sponsor must give you the 39 hours then you can do the extra 20 hours with the second employer.
Hi Nanelle I was an enrolled nurse back at Ghana and I started with my nursing associate registration, done with everything except for the osce but finding an employment with that was pretty hard so I started looking for care assistant opportunities and God been so good I’m now in the uk practicing as a carer. Whilst I started working I talked to my manager and she has agreed to convert me to a nurse associate once my osce exam is done of which I’ve started with the preparation. But I want to confirm from u if it’s not going to affect anything since I came with a care assistant route. Thanks
You will need to update your visa if you will be doing a different job for your employer. This will allow Home Office to update their status concerning you. If you have dependants in UK, they will also need to update their visa. However, confirm from Home Office to see if NA is on shortage occupation list.
