If you're on console and running into pocketed xim soldier 76 and ash the best counter i found is dva to get in their face and push them off high ground or go after the mercy if shes low or block them from killing your team
sombra tracer and kiriko are also good at diving ximmers

Basically sad pathetic people who cheat by using a xim adapter to use mnk with aim assist. Same kind of people who would enter a wheelchair race in a sports car and feel good and proud that they won
As an ashe main I can tell you now I actually really enjoy playing against pharah, echo and even mercy’s since I learned these 2 things:
1. Dont short strafe from left to right, instead do long strafes. Since most aerial hero’s shoot projectiles getting out of their potential trajectory is how you disable them.
2. If your team is struggling against aerials chances are your aim sucks and often times you need to become the good shooter on your team. Practice your aim with either hitscans or fast shooting projectiles like sojourn. Most pharahs and echos are used to just flying around with nobody challenging them because most people can’t aim for sh!t and get frustrated after missing, for this reason most pharahs from plat down suck, cause they don’t get punished for bad plays. Practice shooting them regardless and they will eventually become easy targets, since objectively speaking they are often times out in the open flying with no cover.
Yeah I really struggle mainly with pharah, and my aim is legit trash rn 😂

How could you make a counter guide and then not say the heroes that specifically counter.......
Because it's a guide on how to counter each character. If you know this, then you know what character you specifically can best counter with.

I love pretending to be offense sombra and playing defensive sombra and shutting other dps down
I appreciate that this video discussed methods of countering without just outright counter swapping. Good counter play is much more interesting than just switching to a hard counter and much more useful! Thank you Coach!

I know Sig Comps want too spam and play from range but those comps are open too be Dove and Split up but what if it was a Comp with Decent Spam , Survivability, Team Mobility and Stuff. Like a Sigma , Cree , Sym , Bap and Brig?

Sometimes it feels like an entire video is needed for heroes like ram, kiri, ana, and sojourn but this was a great video to give me a pivot point. I just looked it up and I /think/ it refers to those moments when no team has an advantage or disadvantage over the other. Beginnings of matches/right before or during teamfights (prior to any eliminations)
@@officialgrindr it's a term from fighting games, that's why I'm asking. It's as you say when both players are even and looking to gain an advantage or bait a misstep.
almost every game with two sides pitted against each other has a neutral phase. its not a new concept for genres beyond fighting games.

Have better dps😭soldier bastion duo could melt him, if you add a dva and just burst him as soon as he gets out of ball I think he’ll switch.

Kind of off topic but do you have a list of the songs used in this video?
So I know that you tend to say to stray away from counter-picking, but in a general sense what is the single most important role to counter pick with? Previously you said dps are always looking to counterpick but what are some options that you WOULD HAVE to counterpick for? Tanks, main/flex supports etc.
What my coach has told me is that it's less a specific hero, and more a role. If your whole backline is being shredded by a diver (Doom, Reaper) then someone on the team needs to deal with that. On the opposite end, if you're not getting past a Sniper (or Bastion) then some tech is needed to deal with that. If Pharah or Mercy are especially problematic, you'll want something that can tag flying targets.
I would say a well-supported Doomfist and a well-positioned Bastion are the two that you flat-out can't ignore and have to counter.
My only "have to" switch is if I'm going against an Orisa, I want a Zen to Discord Orb the big bot. That's not even necessary though, it just makes the matchup dramatically more favorable. I read that one as a hard counter because not only is Discord really powerful against Orisa, but Orisa has trouble taking out a well-positioned Zen.

To kill doomfist , just take zen or reaper and damage him as hard as you can . Even block cant help him . Then doomfist only escape plan will be with the help of a healer 🙂

Junker Queen is good against him
Bastion can put some heavy dps on him from range
Soujurn can build up railgun and dive the backline
Zen can outrange him especially with discord orb
Wrecking ball: do...fucking anything, stun, really high dps like bastion or characters that can hunt you down like dva, standing there (body blocking is so FUN!), any shield makes balls ult irrelevant.

Orisa is actually great at poke. Probably better than muaga or any ather poke tank. Her dropoff is gone and once you get good at aiming and timing its a wrap.

A good Sym can fight from a distance just as good or even better than close range. I’ve sniped distance shooters and other heroes easy and it’s easier to avoid damage when I do.
Yeah, once one masters the secondary fire, even Pharmercy is in danger.

On Sombra... I love the rework, and Sombra is one of my most played dps chars since OW1.
If no changes are made to supports like Kiriko and Bap the i think she would need some sort off buff, because they are just stronger than her in every way unless i catch them COMPLETLY out of pocket... I also agree with the iveral comment on the sombra vs soldier example. Soldier only has to push a key to survive whilst Sombra has to go through a list of things to get the kill off.

I disagree.... all her cool downs are so short, all you need to do is translocate again and just try again. Baps cool downs are much longer than Sombras.
Just wait until their cooldowns are forced, or just force the cooldown and get out. You did your job.
Have you tried tracer? Your game play and mechanics from Sombra will carry over and yiu can stay in the midst of the team fight being an absolute menace
@blvsh_slayed Lol it should be obvious she needs buffs, seeing as she keeps getting buffed over and over and over again, including a gigabuff, which still had follow up buffs.

Meh. I play DVa, but aggressive. I try to protect my supports as much as possible. Most DVAs I run across never turn to check their backs. I take out their supports and then fly back to mine. Works all the time. Bastion is great but you have to be at the very back of the group. Most don't do that and fail miserably. If Gengi is there, then switch to Symettra or Sombra to counter Gengi. For Doom, Kiriko damage and Moira can take him out fast, even Lifeweaver. Yes. Surprisingly, I know. Provided you have help of course. You can drain their health so fast. Pharah, most people forget to counter her completely or even try to kill her. I hate people in lobbies that do that and ignore her. I use DVa and fly up there to take her out or use Soldier76 to counter. People need how to be versatile and need to know how to counter.

As a Kiri main I feel my hard counter is Winston.. I cannot and dont know how to deal with him its like his lightning slows me down and I cant even teleport away 😅
im also a kiri main and honestly the best advice is to stay outside of his jump range. He doesnt do a ton of damage and if you rotate your cooldowns efficiently if he does manage to jump you, you can use suzu to buy you time. Also beneficial to really pay attention to your teammates positioning. Know when you’re too far from them and can’t tp to them. I always try to look back for a second just to make sure that theres someone i can tp to if i get in a tough situation. Also i try to always use tp to get myself out before i use suzu because its more impactful used in a team situation, while tp is an easy way to not only get out but also to cleanse yourself of any negative effects. Also if winston jumps you after you tp, you have suzu so that you and the teammate you tp’d to have a better chance to take him down!
@@__eeb agreed , knowing which teammates are near and which one is safest to teleport to is a lot smarter than just suzu and hoping for the best
@@dx_67 it definitely takes a lot of practice to be aware of where everyone is but it absolutely pays off to be in a safe position

There is no way that tracer thing is right cause I’ve done an entire game with 47 kills and 14,000 damage and 1 death but I’m only in gold (highest is only plat 4) so having low deaths can’t mean I’m a great tracer
