Neewer sounds surprisingly good for the price. But is the big difference that the DJI Mic connects directly to your Pocket 3 (and also to an iPhone) which is a huge selling point and deserves a mention. Even so, good audio comparison: you have an excellent speaking voice for it!
That's a HUGGEE selling point. I thought about doing a full comparison, but I figured the audio to audio would be the best for the people who would be looking into this mic. And thank you, I'm glad you think so!
@ oh nice!! Most of money from smaller channels like mine actually come from people using our Amazon links, so forgetting to tag them is a big mistake on my part
This is great video! I wonder what the longevity of the Neewer is. Thats usually big reason to get pro gear, but often the cheap stuff does well on this too.
@@SakariNy this is something I wonder as well. I feel like a lot of the budget options do really well until they completely collapse. Hopefully this one stands up to the test
@@nyarinyax If you end up using them a lot I would be happy to hear "endurance report" in the coming months. But for light / casual use I think I'm sold on the neewers.
@ will do! I’ll try to intentionally use them here and there to keep an eye on their durability. I’ll make sure to make a full review of the mics as well!
@@Get_Sent_E if we’re going by audio alone, I’ll choose the DJI over the Neweer because it has 32bit float audio. This simply means it’s almost impossible to spike the volume. The neewer mic has 16bit audio, so if your levels aren’t set correctly you could accidentally get bad sounding audio
*There're Both Nice, but I bought the Stand Alone for $100 as it does all this but Bluetooth and I don't need to use this for my Camera as I have the Hollyland Lark MAX which I think it's the better option but I love that stand alone as it's less expensive but it's not for everyone. Nice Comparison*
the sound on NEEWER is not bad at all , I'm more into how long it will last , anyway I think is a good option , I just got my DJI Mic 2 few weeks ago and I kind'a feel bad for paying so much ! bcs I'm at start of my youtube channel
the durability really will be the ultimate test. It's also so interesting how easily you can make bad audio sound good these days with Ai. If these Mics can last a long time, they might start to take over for all of the people looking for budget items
Get your Mic here on amazon: amzn.to/3Z05w9i
Sold, I went and bought the Neewer right away. Thanks for your video, I did not know about Neewer before watching your video.
You're welcome! I'm glad you liked it, and I hope the mics treat you well!

Thanks for this! Needed a pair and this helped so much (and saved me money!)
@@Sooner_Smith glad it helped. This comment also reminded me I forgot to add the links to the mics 😬. So thank you too!
@ found them on Amazon (if you needed to know) haha

You should do audio fix tutorial! Amazing!
@@pavelooof Great idea. I’ll put that video together and post by the weekend!

Which one do you like just straight raw audio

@@BlackapinoTheTechGuy I’ve heard great things about the holly land lark. If I get my hands on one I’ll definitely review that as well!
@@nyarinyax they are nice, I've had the Lark 1's now I own the Lark MAX and Won't be giving those up as they are used on my FX30
