This guys good...he can take the piss out of himself...fine quality..I'm going to watch more of the acting biker...hes like a 40 year old 19 year old...excellent...
Hi 👋 really enjoying the channel so far 👍 I purchased a Herald Mirage last week due to it being a adventure style 125cc witch you don't see a lot of, and was just wondering if you could do a review of the Herald Mirage because I would like to see what you think about the bike 🤔
SENDOG84 Hi thanks for watching. I’m actually planning on popping back to Herald next week to film the Classic 400 and Cafe 125. If they’ll have me back, I’ll gladly do the Mirage 🤪 Hope you’re enjoying it.
@@TheBikingActor that would be great thanks....i haven't even been on the bike yet due to me not doing my CBT course for another 2 weeks. I'm just getting everything ready so I can go out as soon as I finish the CBT course 🤣
Hi again biking actor, I went to go and look at 3 125 bikes this past weekend, the brat, the Maverick and the mirage. The brat was the one I had already fell in love with, but after sitting on them all, the Maverick was the one that come up trumps. The position and seat height just felt the best (I’m 6’2”), so I think this is the one I’m going for. Just a question that you might be able to answer, is the Herald 125 Maverick the same bike as the Bullit Hero? Side note: I also sat on a Mutt razor back which felt and looked awesome too. And last night discovered the Bullit Spirit what a beauty. So many beautiful looking little 125s out there🤪 great channel by the way and I’ll be gradually watching all your back catalogue of vids 👍
I’m so pleased your search went well. Unfortunately I couldn’t tell you if the Maverick and Bullit are essentially the same but just looking at them, they do look identical! If that’s the case I’d go for the cheapest option. Since buying my Royal Enfield I’ve found Facebook has many group pages where fans and owners post pics and answer questions. Maybe look out for a Herald and Bullit group 😎 They may be able to answer more questions.
@@TheBikingActor thanks 👍 appreciate your reply 🙏 just watched your intro vid to your channel last night, really cool you started this channel and great content, wow so you already hit your aim of buying a Royal Enfield that's awesome 👏⚡ I spent alot of time in Australia too, love the place and miss it every day especially the weather 😁. My aim is to get a bike as I wanted one my whole life but for some reason never managed to do it until now (40) booked CBT for next month, then aim for full test next year maybe and really would like a Ducati scrambler 😊 all the best my man 🤙
I still own my Euro 3 Herald Classic 125, and so it was great to ride some of Heralds different models. To be honest, the Scrambler was my least favourite. It wasn’t as smooth a ride as my Euro 3 and overall build quality felt a bit plasticy! If that’s a word; highlighted by the stuck on number 8 on the side. Plus the kick-starter took several takes to work. A gimmick more than practical, perhaps. But that said, I love my Orange Herald Classic 125 and I loved the Cafè 400. I’m seriously tempted to purchase one but since they’re £1000 more expensive than the Benelli 400 Imperiale, I’ll probably buy that instead.
Hi, I'm planning to make a trip from Spain to Mongolia by 125c bike, I know a bigger bike will be better, but I want to do it by 125cc, would you recommend this bike?
alvaro solamente just get a Japanese bike. That’ll be more reliable than other brand, imo. But hey, choose what you like. You can always do the repairs yourself, if something goes wrong.
Sadly not, although my plan is to go back and review more 125s. I had my Herald Classic for 4 years and to be honest, despite the odd issue it was a fantastic bike to learn to ride on. I’m always looking for a deal and both Herald and particularly Mutt are quite expensive. I’m keen to take a look at the Lexmoto Tempest. Seen one on the road and it looked and sounded amazing and last time I looked was around £1800. Good luck with your search.
@@TheBikingActor thanks for the quick reply, yes I'm thinking of going to Herald dealer in Brentwood this weekend to have a look. I'm 40 and really want to get into biking, but thought I might just do CBT and grab a 125 to get a taste of it first. As the full bike test seems alot more involved 😬 any thoughts on this. Or do you think I should just do a full bike test and get a proper bike like 400cc plus?? Or even a 250cc
Personally no. Don’t jump. That’s the way to kill yourself. Take the CBT and buy a 125. 125’s really hold their value, especially at the moment with people not wanting to use public transport. I sold my 125 in April for £500 less than I bought it for. I had it for 4 years. So I’d suggest learning to ride and being comfortable on the road and take your time with the test. You’d be surprised how much fun a 125 will give you for a small initial outlay. Buy a bigger bike in a year or so.
I've owned one e of these since October and is a good little bike. I've taken the herald badge ifc the tank as was poor quality and started to peel off. I get lots of interest from people asking what it is which I do like. But it has issues the brakes are terrible I mean really bad the front is too sharp and has no feel the rear caliper slide jammed to the brake was dragging the bajo bolts have rusted but I will be replacing with braided lines soon. The chain is the poorest quality chain I've ever seen replaced with an o ring. The tachometer only works when It feels like it and the fuel light comes on sometimes even with a full tank. But it rides great looks good and most of its a laugh and rare.
Mean1974 Wow those problems can be annoying, right? Glad you’re still able to enjoy the bike. I’m still learning myself but I’ve found a good mechanic can work wonders.
@@TheBikingActor I try not to go to a mechanic unless its a last resort. I do all the work myself and on such a basic bike its not difficult and i like to know how it all works.
Additional, the bike is dead I've had enough of it, still over 10 months before its first mot. I've not had 1 single week where it didn't go wrong in some way it's the worst bike I've ever owned. However when it did work it was a laugh and I could hustle it through the traffic and the country lanes but always waiting for it to conk out which it did everytime it rained and not even while just from road spray post rain never again I've now got a tip top bike still chinese but very high quality.
Yes, I’ve had issues too. Never having owned a bike before, didn’t know what to expect. Mine literally died on me on the way to my MOD 2 on a dual carriageway, so I did question my decision to get into motorcycles. Then the key ignition died, and that took a while to work out as we were in lockdown and had to work it out with a friend. Plus every winter the battery goes flat quickly. Maybe after a few weeks of non riding. Now the battery isn’t anything to do with the bike manufacturer, it’s a standard replacement battery. That said, it’s all a learning curve for me. I’m planning on getting a new bike in the New Year. Maybe a Benelli Imperiale 400, which is Chinese built too. Stay safe.
@@TheBikingActor Beneneli are actually very they design and build their own engines. I've just bought a Zontes ZT125U and the dealer sells benelis so I had a good look at them you will have a different experience.
It's good to hear someone who maybe doesn't know everything about bike's but says how he feels and what he thinks ! Good on you !
Chris Hayle Thanks buddy.
I would love to hear your thoughts about the WK 125 Scrambler
Nice review - just went and bought one!
Your really good at this presenting lark.

Anyone know any bikes that look like this but are Japanese instead
That don’t cost £10000000
You found anything bro? Looking for the same thing :
Is there any way to get these bikes in the U.S.?

In Spain this moto is Macbor eight Mile 125
9.5 bhp why not use the full power waste of time
But is it really a Grunt, or just a Fart.
