No me gustan los kdramas, la mayoría ni siquiera trata de actuar como enamorados, no sé si son restricciones de los mismos programas que solo se toquen los labios, y se ve tan antinatural cómo dijeron las chicas, todo muy artificial.
Many people watch Korean dramas because of the romance that American and European dramas lack. Taking things slowly and sometimes with some innocence in a relationship, is what has make it attractive for millions foreigners to watch korean dramas.
They have it in Korea too. I saw big posters in the street for the season 2 when I was in Seoul in February ! But I'd be curious to see an episode on it too.
But not in a bad way. I love how open Heejae is about being open to at least understand, and possibly enjoy, things that are not modest. Like so many others, I love their dynamic and interactions.
As a Spanish person seeing that kind of scene are normal for me, but even if we are used to them I fell that the plot and the romance in the Koreans dramas are more dramatic and more romantic, I feel like they work more in those aspects

@@mariemdhouibi36 I don't know how it works in other spanish speaking countries, but at least in my country (Uruguay - South America), it's quite common to watch this kind of explicit things with both your parents at least (even extremely violent stuff). When you are very young, they just tell you to close your eyes when there's a sex scene or to watch other side for a little bit. Even when you can hear fucking everything!!!!! XD But when you get to 15-16, they just don't really care about it anymore. It gets a little weird sometimes, but you can talk about other things about the movie/series while the scene goes on, look at your phone or play a joke about it. I'm 25 and almost everyone at my classroom during school and highschool, had similar experiences. I have also talked about it with my classmates at the University, and they shared the same memories about their childhood.

No digo que ame lo explícito o lo muy atrevido, sólo digo que en esos dramas todo es Extremadamente Tímido. Se van a los extremos. Como si darle un beso a alguien fuera super raro o muy atrevido (casi como si tuvieran relaciones). Y las actrices coreanas casi siempre se quedan quietas y con los ojos super abiertos. No todos los Doramas son así, pero si muchos.
lo hacen así porque los dramas lo pueden ver niños pequeños incluso, está en hora de niños incluso muchas veces como cosas corto punzantes o sangre le ponen cositas encima para que no se vea completamente. Corea de preocupa mucho de todos los espectadores pq suelen ser muy conservadores, es un país que a pesar de toda su tecnología avanzada no han avanzado mucho en mente y sociedad

Personally, as a European I really like the fact that korean dramas are never going too far with explicit scenes. It doesn't feel like they're not open minded. It actually feels more romantic and probably less uncomfortable. On the other hand I agree that most of korean productions that include erotic scenes have really weak storylines, something that doesn't apply to the western ones. All in all, having watched many videos of koreans reacting to love scenes (western vs kdrama), I think that korean dramas should keep doing what they do, cause they do it reallllly well and they make many hearts flatter. They don't have to be like the European or American ones. Everyone has their style.
Personally I like it too when they do not make an explicit scene because it's sort of refreshing and non cliche because most of the series here in my country are doing explicit scenes that not necessary and repetitive.
Seriously? "I want you to come to school with me. Understand? Listen to me please." I found this like a thousand times more creepy than anything I saw in Spanish scenes, bossing her around like that. In Spanish scenes they show everybody is actually pretty sweet to each other. *shrug* At least from Spain that how it seems to me.
I ADORE watching Yeonwoo & Heejae! They make topics funny and interesting to watch. Poor Yeonwoo got a bit of a surprise. I love Heejae’s reaction to everything! She always says or does something that makes me really laugh out loud! I agree, these are not depictions of real high school student experiences, but rather something to entice viewers. Yeonwoo had SUCH A CULTURAL SHOCK. I don't watch series like that, though, because I don't like how explicit they can be, but it is never a shock, since some, if not the majority, of us Spanish speakers grow up with some of these series and novelas in Latin America. When I was a child I wouldn't see scenes as explicit as the ones I've seen in Élite, but we still are used to the "more than a kiss" scenes, where people are very touchy. Anyway, it is always fun to see Koreans (both men and women) react to Spanish series or novelas from Latin America, as Korean dramas portray these scenes in a total different mood.

In Spain, we've been living in the "uncovered" age since the middle 70s, so nudity is not a shock xD Also, in most Europe in general, actors are used to do more hardcore "soul opening" performances than in the american field, you can see it in the cinematographic style (they are not better or worst, just different). I work in theatre ("behind" the scenes, though) and it just gives me the chills whenever I work on tough scenes. Btw, when it comes to watching korean series, whenever I try to follow a romantic k-drama, as they have guessed, it just doesn't give me enough. You don't need to show sexual stuff on a scene to make it sensual and/or attractive, but just the way they kiss without hugging or truly touching each other doesn't give me what I need from a romance. Anyway, the delicateness they show it's pretty cute. They're unique in their own ways and we still watch them for a reason, so don't worry

For the past 2 days I've been watching Elite. I'm gonna watched season 3 tmrw. Thanks to this channel I'm so into the show. It's so good. This two's reaction convinced me to give the show a try. I did. Now, I can't stop watching. I hope, there's more seasons to come.

I really like Korean dramas primarily because they allow the relationship to grow and for there to be more trust within the relationship before they get steamy. I love Elite and Sex Education and etc but I feel like those kids almost show sex to be something every 16 year old needs to do or else you're weird and also just lacks the emotional development needed so that sex can be like more emotional as well as being physical.
Honestly, I'm fine the way Kdrama is. It's what makes Kdrama Kdrama. I personally don't mind Game of Thrones type of love scenes if Kdrama decides to puts those in, but I don't mind the way Kdrama is as well. As both of the girls mentioned, their country is strict on those type of content too. So we won't see really explicit love scenes in Kdrama anytime soon, which is fine. I think majority of Asia are strict on explicit love scenes unlike the U.S. I'm a fan of Kdrama/Korean movie storytelling, so that's good enough for me already.
I remember when I first started watching Korean dramas and saw the kiss scenes I was like tf is this? then I watched vampire diaries and got overwhelmed and longed for sweet kdramas again lmaoo now I am hooked on the butterflies I get from kdramas
I prefer Asian drama than I do American dramas, especially Kdramas, they can make you feel all kinds of emotions and the storyline is always phenomenal!!

Actually I like how cheesy and innocent korean shows are, it's refreshing to have more mature themes but no explicit scenes. Just a fun watch that wouldn't make you die of embarrassment if a family member walked in 😹😹😹😹

I work in theatre ("behind" the scenes, though) and it just gives me the chills whenever I work on tough scenes.
Btw, when it comes to watching korean series, whenever I try to follow a romantic k-drama, as they have guessed, it just doesn't give me enough. You don't need to show sexual stuff on a scene to make it sensual and/or attractive, but just the way they kiss without hugging or truly touching each other doesn't give me what I need from a romance.
Anyway, the delicateness they show it's pretty cute. They're unique in their own ways and we still watch them for a reason, so don't worry

I really like Korean dramas primarily because they allow the relationship to grow and for there to be more trust within the relationship before they get steamy. I love Elite and Sex Education and etc but I feel like those kids almost show sex to be something every 16 year old needs to do or else you're weird and also just lacks the emotional development needed so that sex can be like more emotional as well as being physical.

Honestly, I'm fine the way Kdrama is. It's what makes Kdrama Kdrama. I personally don't mind Game of Thrones type of love scenes if Kdrama decides to puts those in, but I don't mind the way Kdrama is as well. As both of the girls mentioned, their country is strict on those type of content too. So we won't see really explicit love scenes in Kdrama anytime soon, which is fine. I think majority of Asia are strict on explicit love scenes unlike the U.S. I'm a fan of Kdrama/Korean movie storytelling, so that's good enough for me already.
The fact that almost every character in elite kisses any character as long as they are part of the cast😂
