I hated 4 strokes replacing 2 strokes. I probably will hate electric bikes replacing combustion for awhile as well. BUT I am enticed by the simplicity especially dedicated rear brake at the handlebars one side and front brake on the other. Does seem born to stunt.
KTM doesn't build electric bikes to replace 2 strokes. In some areas especially in Austria and Germany and Switzerland you're not able to ride your loud ass dirt bike all the time so electric actually gives you a lot more opportunities to ride
In five to ten (or 20) years the electric motors will be so much more powerful with longer battery life. Give it time, the tech is pretty early right now with low demand. We need a tesla in the motorcycle world. I know "Zero" has electric bikes so it's coming.

@@vvu594 I own this bike too. Well yeah, if you are that good in wheelying, you cannot let go both hands since right is for the acceleration, left is for the rear brake. The original brakes up till 2017 on this bike are crap anyway. I am constantly looking for upgrade options.

An electric supermoto is the ideal bike imo, especially in a city or something. Imagine all the mischief you could get up too without people hearing!

What was the rim sizes you have used? I tried 5.0 on the rear, way too big. 3.5 at front seems to fit tightly.

It is like on scooter, no clutch and no foot brake. Right handle brake is the front brake, left handle brake is the rear brake.
