- This playthrough completes all levels of the game without taking damage or dying. It collects all lums and cages to achieve 100%. It also plays the 2D bonus level at the end which is based on the beta of Rayman 2. This video can be used as a walkthrough as it shows the full game.

what a great fucking game, I still remember i got this as a gift on christmas and I was a bit lost since I didn't know rayman, I guess my parents just wanted to give me something nice. I found myself playing the hell out of this one, thanks mom and dad

Looks quite impressive for PS1. Only knew about DC and N64 version existing.
The pc version looks pretty nice too- that was my first version

PCs have more power than consoles and the PS2 version is a remake.

I wish the DC version had the voice acting, though. No idea why they removed it for the console that has more powerful and advanced hardware. The DC was more like the PS2.
@@TheDr502 because the dreamcast was basically the original console the team wanted to work on but ubisoft told them they got a contract with nintendo to make the game on their console to be honest i dont hate the banjo kazooie style talking in the n64,pc,dreamcast versions

I remember this game being crazy hard for me as a kid, where The Cave of Bad Dreams would be my stopping point for good.
Yeah I think was the same. The powdered keg part in the cave of bad dreams was my stopping point.

By any chance, will you also be doing Rayman Revolution? Even though technically, it is Rayman 2: The Great Escape for PS2, it has a hub world where Rayman is free to run around fighting enemies and purchase upgrades with Yellow Lums.

Only the ps1 and ps2 versions have voice acting all the other version use Raymanize.
The voice acting is a controversial addition among the rayman fanbase
