I had split parents. Visiting my mom for christmas she borrowed a cousins N64 cause he got a PS1 and she rented Rayman 2 for it. She had no memory card, so it stayed on for months. We never beat it, until I got it later for the PS1. Good memories as a family working together to beat the game.

I think Rayman entered a bit of a dark age after Rayman 3, only being revived by Rayman Origins in 2011, but even though Origins got a sequel in 2013 in the form of Rayman Legends, it didn’t do enough to bring him back to full glory. Though, I am hopeful since he made a cameo appearance in Mario and Rabbids: Sparks of Hope.
I don't have any connection to old rayman but like. Legends is a masterpiece platformer. Methinks it was mostly the poor marketing that it got after being delayed because of Zombie U doing bad, and pretty much no one talks about Legends so it sadly checks out.

out of every versions of Rayman 1 that came out I would rank the PS1 American version far more superior next to the Pal version. The lowest worst version I'd ever played was the recent one that came out in 2000s which was Rayman Forever. Oh godly that game is bad. What made it worst was Ubisoft never even bother to fix the soundtrack audio of the game. Basically every scene/levels would play the whole music library playlist from the beginning of a soundtrack that not fit for certain levels.
@@Jroobelucios differences are, The Hrz, Cover arts, and of course no language options in Ntsc version some games have some differences or censorship but that’s rarely. cause soemtimes a game got released later in us or later in Eu, so they sometimes bug fixed a few things
I agree and disagree at the same time origins and legends were both spectacular but didn’t have the feel of the old games eitherway after legends the franchise is kinda abandoned tbh which is really sad considering how great they were!
It’s because Assassins Creed and Rabbids started making more money but that is bullshit if they made a new Rayman so many people would buy it as there’s more players these days they just act like AC is the new face of Ubisoft and also the fact the guy who made Rayman has stopped making games and has a wildlife sanctuary
They should create a new game that conintues where rayman 2 left off knowing that razorbeard never dies, so its obvious that he should make a return for revenge on rayman
Ubisoft make another fully fleshed Rayman game and market it well and the masses will buy it you cannot let this legend die ffs get Michel Ancel back from his wildlife sanctuary and get him making more Rayman pleaaaaase or atleast remaster all of these games it’s criminal there isn’t a new Rayman every year or so the best games ever . Assassins Creed and Rabbids are dogshit never make any more of them
I hope Ubisoft makes a rayman game trilogy for Xbox series c PS5 and Nintendo switch just like crash bandicoot trilogy games has and it will be compatible for it maybe in next year so it can be the anniversary of rayman and rayman rocks he’s even way better than bubsy

ntsc versions are always better than Pal, cuz pal ran 50 fps and ntcs 60.
