Thanks so much Marcus! It's great hearing feedback from a viewer, especially positive feedback like this. We're just a couple of guys with a TH-cam dream. We have a lot of special things planned, like full blown restorations of some really old chainsaws. Some are well over 50 years old. We're also working on an actual filing set to really up the quality. Thank you again.
I never seen a sprocket that bad, and when buying saw I always look for a rim sprocket and adjustable oiler.... That saw must be 20 years old, all Huskys that I seen dont use screws anymore to hold down cover, they are snaps...............
Thanks you for putting the bar on the saw fist then the chain. It drives me nuts seeing people put the chain on the bar then try to hold everything together while putting it back on the saw. I know with the external clutch you have no choice but see a lot of people doing it with inboard clutches. Otherwise great video man!!
Thank you for watching! Appreciate the feedback. I'm learning this whole TH-cam thing and how to capture things on video and articulate what I'm doing and why. I feel like I'm getting a little better each video. Also, I plan to do some full blown chainsaw restorations on some 50+ year old saws very soon. I hope you stick around to see them. Again, thanks so much for watching.
nice job

The heat build up must have been crazy to melt the worm gear that way!

From don's small egnine repair i have seen it broken into before i did not see you hold up the bar before you tighten the nuts
Yes, I held the bar tip up when I tightened the bar nuts. Always do.
Thanks for watching
don't forget to put the spark plug lead into the keeper otherwise a great job
Tie some knots in that string before you stick it down the spark plug hole. It will make your life easier. 😮😮😮
Great tip. Thanks for watching.
