I like the idea. Have been thinking of doing it for sometime. What about using a small electric hoist instead of pumping the cylinder by removing the cylinder, replace with a ridged pipe or bar extended high and attach an electric winch or hoist on the end? Just thinking.
nice. id put a block under the center below that ram just like you have out by the front wheels. maybe use some flip up trailer jacks? that might be cool.
good job and its alot beeter than using a truck and chain and and it briaking and flying and hurting some one or going trew your back window . it has happen to my dad but it landed in the bed down from the bake window of his cab . he was lucky .
Yeah this is how a guy BENT THE SHIT out of 2 Engine hoists he borrowed from other people. I was one of the people he borrowed one from. Both are destroyed beyond repair.
I have a hoist never thought of this great idea
We did the same, saved breaking your back when getting older.
Very nice job! Some people are brilliant and don't know it.
Good job! I'll be borrowing this idea.
lmao

Do you have a video of how you installed those tires on the hoist? And what materials you used.
What wheels/u-bolts did you use?
Actually I broke my engine hoist trying to do that. Not with the soil I have which is compacted and very rocky.
