Monkey watched this episode with me and she wants to say Serena has the best trip back. Monkey is also sad you couldn’t get the cute salt and pepper plane back. Love seeing all the different ways coming back. What a great episode. 😊🎉❤
This is a very fun and funny episode. Nicole's reaction (41:18) on Mitch's food and Miguel and Senera's (41:30) as well had me laughing. Nicole's trip won, it's around the world and flew both Japan's top rated airline as well flying the top 2 business class in ANA "The Room" and Q-Suite. Senera's 2nd for living out the lounge lizard (18 hours) and sacrificing the salt and pepper airplane for the challenge. Miguel's 3rd for flying first class via LH and Mitch, sorry, you had the worst flight!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Can't wait 'til next week!!!
Whoa! Where do I start! This was a fun filled episode. You guys were frolicking all over the world! I love it! ❤ I have to give it up to Nicole, I think she's turning into a lux traveler, especially when solo traveling. 😉 I had to look up where Muscat is in the world because Serena has me wanting to go there just to check out that sleeper room! Note to self: 1. take an extra tote bag for all the business class flight freebies 2. take baggies to stock up on snacks, just in case. 3. Some business class lounges suck! 😂 I know this is a year out, but I want to suggest a meetup in New York sometime between June 7-10, 2025. My daughter and I are flying from JFK to Lisbon, Portugal (business class on Singapore & TAP airlines) thanks LGTTP miles and points coaching. I would be super excited to enjoy a meetup in NYC! 🥰🤗
Hi Phyllis. All of your notes are spot on! We like your word choice: frolicking. Because that is what it felt like. You and your daughter are going to have an amazing time frolicking through Europe! Unfortunately we already know that date will not work for us because several of us have family travel planned in June. We might need to have a meetup in Ecuador!
Awesome to see y’all’s trips. I fly ANA every other month (economy) and it’s not it. I prefer JAL. I have a (5) night stay coming up (October) in Tokyo at the Conrad (5th night stay free; Hilton for the win) and the month after a 4 night stay in Kyoto. Idk when I’ll be able to fly business but I continue to stack points so I can comfortably afford it in a couple of years. Awesome pod this week.
Hi Carlos! Let us know what gives JAL the edge over ANA. We would love to hear your thoughts! Serena really enjoyed her stay at Conrad Tokyo and Conrad Osaka a few years ago. You are in for a treat! Gotta love those executive lounges!
@@LetsGetToThePoints ANA flights are more times than not are “hot”. My kids and I don’t like being hot. We haven’t had that experience with JAL. I’ve stayed at the Conrad in Osaka before (we enjoyed it). They are opening Waldorf Astoria’s at both Osaka and Tokyo in the coming years so looking forward to that.
We get most of our AA miles with sign up bonuses. There are multiple AA cards issued by Barclays and Citi which we’ve talked about on the show. The Aviator Red card is a favorite. Make one small purchase, pay the annual fee, and get the welcome bonus.
Ah, traveling with friends, isn't that the dream?☺☺☺ Btw, on Air France La Premiere cash upgrades for award flights, have you guys heard of any particular routes where the upgrade costs are lower in general compared to the USA to Paris routes? I read somewhere that flying from Paris to Dubai might cost less than a thousand dollars to upgrade from business to La premiere. Just wondering if you guys have heard more about this... As always, love the show! Keep up the great work 💗
Hi’. We haven’t seen what the actual upgrade cost would be for non US routes but we think any route that does not involve the US would have better availability and options.
One of my fav episodes! All talk about luxury! I wish nicole could flown that A350 with JAL. That would of been sweet! My profile pic is my ana first class suite seat!
Do you guys earn these points just using the credit cards, or did you all buy points as well. I am single and I travel solo, so I don’t accumulate a lot of points even tho I live out of my credit cards since it’s only me. I am curious.
We do a mixture. Sometime through bonuses, sometimes buying points (if it makes sense like with the Avios Booster), sometimes through shopping portals like Rakuten. We also have multiple players in our household to open credit cards: partners, parents, older children, siblings, etc.
So basically when it comes to service Europe and rest of Western world is horrible! I prefer visiting Asian countries because of their amazing hospitality and better overall experiences.
I think the ladies had the best trip. Another fun episode! Thank you.
👯♀️The ladies loved it and are also SO grateful for that time for self care! ❤️

Please tell Monkey thank you for voting! And also thank her for empathizing with Serena. Thank you for watching, Monkey Family! ❤️😍🥰
Nicole gets my vote! Anything through Japan is a win. Kudos for getting The Room too!
We agree! Anything through Japan is a huge win! 🎌

Hi! We laugh at and with each other all the time. We’re so glad you can join in the fun and laugh with us. Thanks for watching and for your support!
Great show! You guys just get better and better!
Thank you!!! We love putting out great shows for you!
Nicole flew The Room for 38k points? 😱 She wins!! 🎉🎉🎉
🎉🎉🎉 Let’s hope that partner award booking sticks around.
Totally 🎉
When did you guys book this flight for 38k? I don’t think you can find that deal anymore.

Nicole’s route was awesome especially for 150K!
$150k is a steal for around the world!
Great episode. Serena won!🏆
Thank you for watching and voting!!! 🏆
Nicole gets my vote
Her routing has been the unanimous favorite so far! Thank you for voting!

Nicole all the way!!!
🎉🎉🎉
Nicole had the best trip
She had the best time too!
Wait...can we the blanket too? haha I wanted one
Discreetly. 🤫
I vote for Nicole’s route! Flying with ANA the Room is one of the best flying experiences other than Qatar Q-suites and Emirates First (a380)
Nicole loved her experience!!!
It was such a great experience
How does Serena and Nicole have all these AA miles ? Very nice
I thought Nicole's trip was 2 bucket list Airlines in one trip so must vote for Nicole

Is this an alternative to Frequent Miler’s podcast?
Sure! We think we provide a unique perspective with regard to points, miles, and travel. 😊
@@LetsGetToThePoints I like it! Keep up the good work.

Thank for watching

Did Miguel already have these points on his lifemiles account?
Miguel transferred them previously to get it ready for this booking.
i think i vote for nicole mostly bc of the last leg, serena used too many AA/Alaskan miles
That 40k AA sweet Spot is incredible!
i vote for Miguel because he has 4 ducks and i have 0
Haha! We ALL want ducks now!!!

@@LetsGetToThePoints Love watching your amazing and not so amazing experiences. Learning to avoid airlines/airports/countries thru your experiences :)
