Went from lie flat seats I booked so we can sleep to recline business seats and we were separated more now, no longer in the same row. The plane was so old, didn’t even have monitors at the seats 😅
Nicole - I basically had the same exact error with the C1 travel portal when I tried to book a domestic Air New Zealand flight late last year. We had three passengers on the reservation and the portal wouldn't allow us to go past the passenger selection page. And when calling in to book, the agent said there's no space available when clearly there was. Initially, I was able to bypass this by completely butchering our names on the reservation, but ofc that's not a real option, since the names need to match our passport. Finally, the only thing that seemed to work is when I tried to do the booking on a different device, and even there, had to split the booking into a specific combination of passengers. This makes the C1 portal very frustrating to use but I'd say it's still worth it due to their extremely generous price match policy. Pro tip: sometimes the agents don't know the difference between main cabin and lite fares :D

We are headed to the Marriott Cancun in two weeks! I booked it for a retreat for my husband’s company and am so glad to hear your fam had a great time there Serena!!
Hi Chrissy! Have a fantastic time! My daughter said there are two breakfast areas and the outdoor one has the yummy handmade tacos. Also don’t miss the pizza and chips at the coffee shop/bakery. At the burger place, the burgers were just okay but the milkshakes were really good. You and your husband are great bosses to treat the team to an all-inclusive. 😍
The Wyndham business card is a no brainer. I’ve gone on so many cruises because of the status merry go round. I’m going to Barcelona to go on a virgin voyages trip in a few days. And I booked vacasa in Hawaii with the Wyndham points.

Hahaha it was definitely an aircraft swap story of all times! I’m not sure about how exactly to check cargo schedules, however a little more context. This was back when they would fly the 777 from certain locations to another because this was one of the few aircraft that could do that range. For example they use to fly it from doh-lax all the time because they didn’t have enough A350s. Since they’ve swapped this route to the A350 there’s hardly ever any issues with W&B on this aircraft…at the time this happened to us Qatar didn’t have that many A350s that since has changed…

That's what I save my Marriott points for, the Marriott moments, and not for hotel bookings. My guy Miguel dropping dimes again with Lufthansa 1st class bookings, and having positioning flights tip even before having the main flight, that's next level stuff! I got Qatared too, not by an equipment swap, but they changed my flight from a 12 hr layover to 2 hrs layover. Wanted to go out of the airport and have a Doha daytrip during that long layover. Yes, booked Iberia biz for 34k points, I know it's not the best business class product going to Europe, but as long as it's lay flat, should be ok. I've also told friends and family who are going to the wedding, so we've been hammering Iberia award flights for that period. Thanks for the shout-out Nicole!
You get 15,000 points each year with the Wyndham Business earner so the 15k could be a cheaper vacasa night or an overnight stay. Then match Wyndham Diamond to Caesar’s diamond yearly for all the perks and free cruises. It’s a no brainer for me for the next two years as I work through all the cruise companies for the free cruises.
I think the regular Amex travel portal gives you .6 or .7ccp value for booking hotels. I don’t know what it is for fine hotels and resorts though. I think? That’s why I’ve never bothered with it.

Hi! Absolutely! If there’s a Hilton you want to stay at, don’t have enough points, and don’t want to pay cash, it makes sense. Even better if you can take advantage of the 5th night free!

Mitch would have his home base at Park Hyatt Kyoto. Kyoto is different and a nice contrast to the other popular cities with an easy train ride to Osaka.

The portal is definitely best used for FHR and Hotel Collection when booking hotels.
Amex Travel is 1 cent for flights and FHR hotels, it's 0.7 cents for other non-FHR hotels... I think the 0.6 cents is for statement credit.
