@@godfearingheathen They did the same thing with Tangled. Disney got spooked by the poor theatrical performance of The Princess and the Frog, and thought that princess movies couldn't sell anymore. So they changed the titles of the ones that they still had in production to make them more appealing to boys. I doubt it had anything to do with princesses, and everything to do with The Princess and the Frog not living up to the standard of previous Disney movies, but that's just my two cents.
Sometimes they will even change movie titles for other English speaking countries like Australia. Like "Airplane" was changed to "Flying High". Reason here was it's release was delayed till the following year when another airplane titled movie came out, so they changed it to avoid confusion.
It's amazing what you can extrapolate from a little bit of context and knowing 75% of the words. I was able to figure out "Mum, I missed the plane" without knowing the verb rater. This was fun!
