I've had the pleasure of meeting Mr Anselmo twice, once at an autograph booth and again in the French Quarters. Guy is awesome, perfectly nice, a sweetheart. Deeply misunderstood man that people need to let be in peace.

I will always be a huge fan of Rod Serling's Television shows. Absolutely loved staying up late on Saturday nights just to watch reruns of The Twilight Zone on TV. Night Gallery (TV Series) was on when I was a kid. What a brilliant man he was! I just found out that Rod served in the United States Military for 4 years. During his military service he was awarded the Purple Heart, the Bronze Star Medal, Philippine Liberating Medal, and many other awards and decorations.

As the lead singer for Pantera I've always loved Phil he simply crushed and destroyed all I mean no one has a voice like Phil in Pantera !! For quite a while though I didn't know if I really cared for his personality and him quite frankly but ya know the more I watch videos on him and realized how caring of a person he actually is I find myself liking him alot more lately! He is human like all of us and had demons line alot of us... Dime bags passing and the whole story about that with Phil I guess is why I had a sour feeling towards him, the break up of Pantera also.. most of didn't see the story as a whole though..anyways Phil you rock brother!!

Rod Serling is also my favorite writer/director (along with Ridley Scott) however I prefer The Twilight Zone than Night Gallery. Man I'd love to one day sit down with Phill & just have a conversation over a few beers.

Supposedly, he's been clean for 5 yrs. or so. All of the latest interviews I have seen of him lately, he looks and sounds good, and his performances have been great. It just seems like he's loaded a li'l in this one.

In the early 90si worked at an upscale hotel in downtown denver ...during panteras stay i have several outragious , hilarious stories ...good group of people...One night Phil was entering the restaurant on the second level of he hotel when for no reason the Maitre D started telling him that he needed to behave while in the dining room ect.. I was a suit and tie security person(no uniform).. i dont think Phil noticed me there...i was shocked at the Maitre Ds unprovoked rant at Phil... In response Phil just looked him in the eye and told him.."I going to come back and buy this hotel and fire your ass...he was then seated ..I was glad not to have to break up a fight...throughout their stay, one member (i think might have been the bus driver) was determined to show any women that wanted to see..his new piercing(in a private part of his body)...later i found myself in the lounge maintaining the crowd and the piercing guy was getting way loud (for our standards lol)..everytime he got loud I would tell him his "party" was getting loud..he told me he had my back and to tell him who it was...i told him "its ok now, the guy is under control" After three times of me approaching him and telling him the same thing...he finally said "you're talking about me ..aren't you?"..I said yes and he laughed
No idea if that is true, but it is a good story at least :D
I wouldn't say he's all talk, I've heard several stories from fans/security guards that personally witnessed Phil's fights that mostly happened during 1990-1995 years. If you didn't notice there's actually one street fight video of him on youtube. watch?v=70Q9U_UF4-k
