- Wellcome to PART ll of the Terk Foundation Veterans’ Appreciation Arrowhead Hunt from west Texas!
After almost nine years of TH-cam and enjoying some of the best artifact hunting in the U.S. we finally had the opportunity to give something back. We were invited to by the Terk Foundation to join the Terk Tribe and help a group of veterans hunt and find arrowheads and artifacts on the Sycamore Creek Ranch near Del Rio Texas and needless to say we jumped at the chance. Randy, Mike, Dan and myself (Spike) spent the first weekend of March down on the ranch with Mitchell Terk Murphy, five veterans and other friends of Mitchell’s on the ranch digging and sifting for arrowheads. It was undoubtedly the most epic adventure we have ever had. We found so many artifacts by the second day we stopped filming anything but the best points and still had to split the video into two parts. We can’t tell you what a privilege it was to be invited and to participate in this event. The Terk Tribe and the Terk Foundation are doing wonderful things. Please check out their website at the link below and if you feel inclined you can make a contribution to their cause. Thanks and we hope you enjoy these videos.

Thanks!
Man you guys hit a hot spot. I hope you do another video on this location.
Thanks. This may become an annual thing.
Fantastic dig, guys!!! There is NOTHING like a screen dig - it's hot, you're breathing dirt for hours, but then that stone cold KILLER rolls out on the screen and it's all worthwhile! Wonderful time, wonderful fellowship, and wonderful finds!
As we say in Texas - "Y'all come back now, hear?"
Thanks. We hope to be back for sure.
I been following yall for years. To me yall are the best channels there is on finding Indian relics.. I love it.. some killer smoking points. God bless yall and for videoing this. Spike that point you found had the finest point I ever seen on one..
Thanks. You just made our day!
I said it before on part1, but I had the greatest feeling watching you guys and the camaraderie, and all for the love of the artifacts. What a great way to come together, awesome finds.
Congrats to everyone and thanks to the Sycamore Ranch for hosting such a cool and honoring event for everyone, including all us spectators.
And Congratulations to Spike for an unbelievable find and authentic Texas point.
Thanks for sharing guys.
It is our pleasure! Thanks so much!
Looked like everyone had a great time. Congratulations on the finds.
We really did Jack. Such wonderful hospitality and the artifacts were awesome too.
That's a beauty of a point Spike! What point type was Mike's last one? Enjoyed the show👍🏹
Thanks John. I'm not sure Mike ever figured out what his point is.
Congratulations to everyone on their finds. It looks like y'all had a great time. Mr. Spike I hope your voice has come back and again thanks for doing this.
Thanks. My voice is back!
Artifact hunting and friends this video is what it’s all about. Great stuff right here. Spike miss hearing you’re commentating on this incredible points. Get well my friend
Thank you sir!
❤
Thanks.
Y’all are just living the life.
You got that right.
At 26:15, that's the quintessential Textbook Arrowhead right there. What a beauty!
Thanks.
God blessed us all that day. Trust 😅😊
Also, mitch found my phone weeks later. Thanks to him a million times.
Outstanding! Good to see everyone out finding some good rocks ! Take care y'all ! ⛏️🏹
Thanks! You too!
Congratulations on the find of a lifetime point Spike! Sometimes it seems after finding nothing but the skunk all day we can make a lifetime find. It's happened to me more than once!
You got that right! Thanks!
Spike you sound sick. I hope you feel better soon. God Bless You Sir!
Thank you, I'm fine now.
Man yall found some awesome artifacts. Spike my heart sped up too when ya pulled that Clov…err, Kinney out, lol. Great video as always 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks 👍 It had us going for a while there lol.
Whatcha think about that Texas digging?! Can’t beat it!
It was incredible!
@@HeartbreakerRelics maybe one day we can dig together! Bring along Pine Belt with ya and make a good ol time of it. Should have more locations locked down here soon! Keep on diggin 👊🏼
I’ve got some points I’d like to show you fellas maybe you could help me with ID? Mike seems to be an expert. They came from the same area of the world. I’m a novice at best and don’t know much about them.
Send as many images of your finds along... We'll make sure Mike gets them for his perspective.. He's a great asset to the team..
@@mindmeld1 not sure how to send pics on TH-cam. Do y’all have a Facebook page or an email I could send them over?
Glad y’all got to be apart of all this.
That’s a frio, not a split based Ensor.
Thanks but and Ensor split base and a Frio are the same point.
@@HeartbreakerRelicssorry bud they are not the same.
I imagined ANCIENT PEOPLE.
Living in the area.
Rivers flowing, plentiful hunters.
NO ONE WENT HUNGRY.
Such a shame we search dig for mementos no value really can be placed.
Not lost but found.
Our culture has it lost the value of making sure other tummies are FULL SATISFIED.
WITHIN THE HEARTS OF ALL HUMAN KIND.
Is really our QUEST in YOU ALL ♥❤💙💛 giving the JOY it once was.
IT WILL BE AGAIN SOMEDAY.
Thanks.
Excavating with a skid steer is not right!
Some folks feel the same but could I'd be interested in why you feel this way. Not judging, just wondering. Remember, the ground here Texas is as hard as concrete!
First
Thanks!
Sorry guys but I had to give yall a thumbs down. Couldn't even watch the entire video. The skid steer takes all the fun of finding it away. Notnear as interesting. Stick with the shovels, sweat and fellowship.
Thanks for your input.
I have done both, though 85% of what I have in my collection was hand digging or surface hunting. At my age now, I will have to settle for surface hunting, or maybe a few of these, dont want to dig my own grave now.😂
It's always the people who've never been screen digging say this. 😂😂😂😂 It's the most fun I've ever had. We find em every way possible.
